Solution = prescribe it to patients who want it. Stop demonizing a safe medication that's prescribed in the USA to elderly in nursing homes and children with skin conditions. The drama around this is making people lose what little trust they had in science and doctors.
I know its a bit late but my suggestion, if ivermectin is such a good dewormer, then give it to riverside Health to get rid of the "captured Drs" and cancel their licences for being what I see as willfully ignorant. Thanks for your help in the above matter.
If it's a dangerous drug for use then why is it approved by the FDA for safety? Which version of the drug did the people you speak about took? What dosage according to their weight did they take? For how long? What exactly were the severity of their symptoms from Ivermectin and how hard was it to treat it when they arrived to the hospital? If they have Covid, how do you know that the symptoms are from the drug and not from the disease?

From 1/1/2021 to 8/31/2021 the number of calls to these centers deemed “SEVERE” equaled 1% of total reports or a TOTAL of 11 CASES and no deaths, and none reported as self-medication with the veterinary form. All other cases were not considered serious enough to warrant investigation.

In the US since 2020, the topical formulation has been available OTC for skin conditions. It’s a very safe drug.
