31 years since I was last in Obuasi, sad to see the state of the old Sports Club and mine area around Adansi shaft. Loved my time there, most fulfilling of my career. To Danny, Mr Frankie and the team of 32 level....always in my thoughts.

My siblings and I used to be sent there to visit some of our Long extended family members in Obuasi during the holidays.
There were many such cousins 🥰🥰🥰. Obuasi was the fun place to be.

I had heard that the roads were bad but they look OK to me and there's so much greenery... It's so beautiful. Really nice, clean and serene.
So much gold is mined from there so they need to ensure the locals benefit from the revenue generated .
Yes the roads have be done recently but they had been in terrible shape for quite a while.

Oh wow! I'm pretty much from Obuasi, as my parents were both born here. My Dad started working for AGC in 1992.
Wow that’s great, my dad was the district chief executive (DC) in obuasi, we were living right on top of the hill with the district secretary and judge. That’s why we were at AGC. Really enjoyed watching, have to save this video.
