@suzayajuzo hey man if you havent figured it out yet ik its been 9 days, on your sample for your 808 down somewhere in the bottom left there should be a box you can hit with an abbreviation like OSR or something along those lines, changing these settings changes the sound of your 808s the science behind it idk but yea man hope i could help
@@suzayajuzoa better description, at 2:25 in the video you can see the 808 clip and how flawless is hovering right above the gain with his mouse, look right beneath that and you'll see the word clean. Changing those settings in some way changes how the sound is delivered, as i said i dont know the science but hope i could help
in FL Studio i saw they're sidechain kick & 808 by fruity limiter, that a good hard sound. can u make a tutorial sidechains kick & 808 in Ableton Live pls.
Happy member, always gems. As far as clippers, its abit expensive but I find Gold Clip levels above the competition sound wise but Ableton is known for its great stock plugins so can't go wrong at all
Finally ableton live love
Thank you! 4eva Ableton :)
Just change ur 808 from clean to PRD and turn the drive a little bit
Facts. I prefer the MS2
OSR works great too!
@@DiegoRodriguez-pj1lc what is prd what mode or knob y'all talking about

Thank you that stepped up my 808 sounds in Ableton
Idc what no one says. I use both daws and my 808s always hit harder in ableton by default
really? I've never heard that before
What else do you use on your 808s to get them sounding good?
ABLETON MAFIA
THANK U SO MUCH FOR THIS!!

he already has a bunch
any compression tool explainer video will help you, doesn't have to be specific to drill
thanks!
This is what adds that subtle grime to most FL prods beats huh. Noted
You don't necessarily hit -0 dB. You can always put a clipper on the 808 directly and clip it through it regardless of the level.
3:11 limiter and saturator
what about the headroom and how we master
Thanks, this really helped my 808s to come thru stronger
Happy to hear that!
Friend, I hope you can answer this question I have. When I sell the beat, should I remove the clipper from the master?
ohh thanks bro simple tricks very effective
Nice! Question, how loud was your open hat hitting on the one? Was it in the 808 bus or seperate? 🙏
Loved the video but what if we use saturation and then the glue compressor without the utility?
That will work as well, try it out!
Use 909s
What plugins do you have on your 808? That's also good to know
thank you bro, nice job
you bet!
Thanx Fearless
no problem

how do I do this without making my master clip as well?
I’ve been using the glue compressor as a soft clipper wrong this wrong time😅
on the master? glad you figured it out 💯
...I want my 808 to split the planet in half.
sooo usefull, thanks!
Fye 💥
putting it on the master channel makes no sense to me at all, what about the rest of the instruments? will be affected as well
It creates a crunchy sound when your 808 and hit hats hit that can't be replicated by only soft clipping the 808
Why not soft clip first, then run it into the saturator too?
please leave the likes on 808
good video
thanks bro

Soft clippers don't sound the same. That's not true. The tutorial is amazing nonetheless.
hard like... Fl...?
It's obvious that you don't have a clue about Ableton...
