Just purchased a 2021 1025R, with loader,54in mmmower with auto connect, 48 in rotary cutter, 48in box blade, I match quick connect and 16 ft trailer. I used all the negation tips from your videos amd yes I came away with a steal of a deal. 19.7% off list i had to walk away several times but after a month of wheeling and dealing we made it happen. thanks!!! great videos!!
How good does that make you feel! And do you know what got 19.7% percent off? Not because those tractors have a ton of margin...2 reasons.... 1. 5 other guys went in and got 3% and and were happy... 2. You asked and others didn't. Really happy to see you have success! Jason
I bought a 60 inch disc used for 400 a tiller sounds nice but I can’t justify buying one at the cost as the disc works great for me tilling a 1/2 acres garden
Yep, makes sense... As we mentioned, everyone has a different use case, find what works best and makes the most sense for you. We actually have moved away from tilling as much as possible and are trying no till when we can. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks for doing this series. I am currently shopping several dealers for a new 1025r package. One of them asked if I was a Farm Bureau member, and they offered a $200 discount. Might be worth asking.
Thanks for watching and commenting. Earlier today I got a message from someone that said "thanks", I got $6500 (19.7%) off on my tractor using your advice. I'm going to provide you with a link to my 1025R playlist. It has several videos that might help you. - Jason th-cam.com/play/PL8BQp5z-QX0TLXSsUbWE60H5YMPNVdQom.html
Hey Jason, How do you find the power on a 25hp tractor? I have 35 acres of bush and have to move a lot of trees and I'll have a lot of roots. I have been looking into a few brands and get the sense that 25hp subcompact might be a little too small. How do you find the 2 model or 3 model vs the 1 models?
Hi Andrew. I bought the 1025R to manage 25 acres I own in West Virginia. It is mostly wooded with about 2 acres to mow and another 1-2 for brush hogging and tiling for food plots. It worked great for those 3-4 acres. When I started using it to manage our 150 acres (and I was really only focused on 10-15 acres) the size became a challenge. Working 4’ at a time (small attachments) wasn’t very efficient. Brush hogging thick grasses was tough. I had to go slow and the tractor would frequently bog down. Joshs 2032r does everything. The only place had is undersized is lifting heavy logs and being able to handle heavier attachments (no till drill was too heavy for it). But plenty of power (he would have bought the 2038R if it had been in stock). I stepped up to the 4052R and have no regrets. Jason
Hey Andrew, Josh here... Two other videos to check out... Jason's Tough Enough video ( th-cam.com/video/HUJy0ii65-E/w-d-xo.html ) hits right on what you are asking and my 2032R Review ( th-cam.com/video/UdhbixoG8H0/w-d-xo.html )...

Boom! Show me the savings! Congrats on the purchase. Glad to hear it worked for you. Thanks for the feedback and for watching! Jason

could not have gotten a deal like that with out the information you two put in your videos, thanks.

I should mention I had a 62inch disc on a gen 1 2025r

I've been considering getting a PTO driven tiller for on my John Deere 2210. They're just so pricey! Thanks for another great video in the series.
Thanks for watching and commenting. I’m trying to minimize my tillage and focus on no till. No plans to do any tilling this spring. Jason.
I bought 4ft countyline on black friday for less than 1200 after taxes.
I need to throw that into my tips...Black Friday!
Is it quick hitch compatible ? If you are going to use a quick hitch that could be a deal breaker.
Yes it is. I don’t have quick hitch for the 1025R but I do have one in the 4052R. I’ve moved it with that before. Jason.

I have 1.2 Acres
The 1025R is plenty of tractor to handle that. Jason
