@@tedsshed2185 it certainly was. Alan Wagstaff and David Cashmore did the conversion, trouble was because the crawler would go on soft ground and had the power he ended up trying to drill when the ground was far too wet and blocking the drill. Keep up with the great videos 👍
Hi Paul, yes this has no heater to start but always starts when cold doesn’t know it’s pulling the plough reckon it would manage 2 more furrows easy 👍 Thanks For watching
In soviet era, as far as I’ve heard , crawler tractors main purpose was to plough and fix uneven ground. Wheeled tractors where for cultivation, carrying trailers and fertilising. Simply because wheeled tractors were put on a lot of stress when ploughing which made sense to go ahead and plough with a crawler tractor
Hi Andrew, It was quite a common conversion with the 6356 engine I’ve got another TD8 with the international engine I’ll have to do a comparison with them both ploughing

I used to have an IH 634 tractor which someone had fitted a Perkins 6-354 engine to, it was a very good starter and strong puller.

If you cleaned off the molbords more often, they would shine faster.
European hardware per furrow looks bigger than the same US gear.
