The audi A4 1.8 turbo survived for 245 000 kilometers (that equtes to 24.5 years of driving at an average of 10 000 kilometers per year), that's good mileage. If you get one with 100 000 kilometers, you can drive for another 145 000 kilometers (at least another 10 years).
The 1.8 turbo from 2013 is a refined and reliable engine with plenty of power. I still have one and have made 200 000 kilometers comfortably without any issues outside of regular service and maintainance. I say that would be a good buy.

Thank you for the full episode, glad to see one of my favourite shows ever on TH-cam.
Porsche, I would go for the diesel. It isn't sluggish by any means and the engine will run till after forever.
Polo to Ignis, I wouldn't do that, I would jump into the cross Polo.
The A4 with 245 000km on the clock, all I can say is HA - HA - HA - HA.

The Corolla Cross Hybrid is an option as it was for me but one thing that stopped me in my tracks was the fact that you can only tow 750kg braked and 400kg unbraked. My small luggage trailer has a gvm higher that 400kg so what do I do? Mos small trailers weigh more that 400kg and you cant tow them as in an accident senario the insurance may not cover you even if the trailer was empty.

They know we don’t have a choice. Public transport sucks. I won’t be surprised if the car companies are pushing against government plans for Better public transport
