I've always liked Gassers & AWB dragsters along with Classic Muscle. Very Enjoyable video for me. There are a lot of AWB kits out there I haven't decided on one yet. That Revell Daytona kit IS a little Pricey. lol must not have had a reissue of it ? Thank You for making this video, a lot of info about this Strickler kit. You & Family enjoy Thanksgiving tomorrow.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler Ok Good to Know pulled up a list from from the 'bay they All had the same box cover. If anyone knows I knew it would be You. Your Kit Comparisons I really Enjoy.
I’m sure it looks good but on the real ones, you can’t see through them. The k frame is a box and that opening lets you see into them but the top is solid. So you can’t see the motor through it.
@@TheMuscleCarModeler I recently saw that done on another youtube channel. It's something I may try, if the magnets still work when they are blackened with permanent ink marker.
I've asked on that video, but what color did you use for the orange-bronze on your golden commandos build? I've got that kit and can't find a satisfactory paint to match the real car...
Looks great! Happy Thanksgiving.

Looking good so far. May suggest drilling out those holes on the K member. I did mine and it make a big difference.

Looks amazing. What clear did you use . I have always loved those afx cars
I am using Sherwin Williams Premium Clearcoat CC939.
Have you ever tried embedding tiny magnets to hold those hoods closed?
No, I have not.

I used Scale Finished Turbine Bronze listed for 67 GTX.
What made you paint the engine orange?
All 426 Hemis were orange from Chrysler.
