Journey On is an original song for orchestra which was helped brought to life by my amazing producer Pawel Zarecki. The title track from my debut full-length album, I was inspired by New Zealand's beautiful landscape and film music when composing this song. I enjoy every chance I get to perform this live with orchestra.

Beautiful performance, by a beautiful and remarkable singer! The orchestra needs a talk from someone about how to dress and look during a concert like this, however. Many look like they just came on stage from pulling weeds in the backyard, or doing the laundry. If I had the talent to play in an orchestra, I'd sure as heck dress to show I care, and I'd look like I appreciate the audience and the music.
Anna, what was your inspiration for this song? When I listen to it I totally think of God.
Hi Trish, yes in this song the voice is the Spirit of God. It was inspired by my walk with Him and invitation to step out into the unknown and on my way to always 'journey on' as sometimes the most challenging thing about a journey undertaken is to keep going. I have also learnt (and am still learning) the 'cliche' its not so much the destination that counts but the journey and the process itself.
Musically I wanted it to sound as though you were traversing over vast landscapes mountains, rivers, and valleys to represent our journey in life, dreams and goals.

Anna, the song is so beautuful! Please know that it is a huge comfort and inspiration to me as I, "journey" through my husband's late stage pancreatic cancer diagnosis. At night, when I can't sleep, (which is just about every night) I listen to your beautiful voice and the words that the Holy Spirit inspired you with and it helps give me the strength to let go and let God lead me.

Same here! This song brought me from the edge numerous times. In fact, I call it my fish song because I was acting a lot like Jonah--resisting a call from God. Let's jus say...the moment I first heard it, I broke, and then went back on track.
To this day, it's a comfort. I listen to it on loop a lot.
I'll be praying for you and your husband for sure! Cancer is a brute. I personally know two people in my life with that stupid disease.
But our God is a God of miracles. ❤
