Spazzlov, you should watch Brother Brian's latest video. You'd learn an awful lot about humility and music appreciation, which you have very little of both.

Nice finds, but the best is the one in the back between the turntables. Greetings

The “Maz Tax” of a Whack-a-Mole is well worth it. No croissants though; must be a Saturday exclusive 😂. I wish I’d done a deeper dig at Jive Time. We did walk over to see the “troll” under the nearby Fremont bridge #tourist. KEXP was one spot we didn’t have time to go to. See, another reason for a return 😁. Great recap, Professor!

Hey Concert Flabby, you seem obsessed with trolls. You know what Shakespeare said about obsession and love? Prob not, they don't print Shakespeare in wrestling programs. I hear you're now deciding who is good for the VC and who is not? Put your name at the top of the 'not' list.

Nice video, Tim. Enjoyed the crossover with Mazzy. I was in Seattle a couple weeks ago for a Robyn Hitchcock concert and went to Jive Time. Checked out the Elliott Smith on the wall, but already have that pressing, picked up Hum's "You'd Prefer an Astronaut" from their wall.

It looks like you had a lot of fun and found some amazing records. I still need to find the right copy of Hunky Dory - good for you to find one. 😃 And the promo Dennis Wilson record you found looks awesome!

The right copy is the UK Rasputin Bobil. Don’t settle for the US on this one.

I still have my dynaflex copy of Ziggy Stardust. It sounds great. Saw the Ziggy Stardust tour and Nick Ronson with Ian Hunter. Nick is one of my all time favorite guitar players.

Very nice score with the Black Sabbath S/T Greenie! I also sought one out specifically and ended up buying a nice, clean copy from a Discogs seller in Canada for around $50 or so. Great sound! BTW, you likely already know this, but you can find some nice later and other country pressings of say Paranoid with the original Vertigo stampers. That is what I ended up doing and found a very nice, clean WWA pressing with Vertigo stampers, also for around $50. Both are excellent alternatives to the ridiculously priced 1st UK pressings. Also, the 2016 Sean Magee UK pressing is an excellent alternative for Paranoid. I like it best from other reissues, even the well liked Kevin Gray 2010 pressing. The Sean Magee pressing sounds darker in tone, much more like the original, whereas the Kevin Gray is brighter and less like the original, although some prefer it.
Heh, it's interesting you mention buying an album that the store is playing. Sometime around 1991 I was in what was at the time one of the great used record stores here in the San Diego coastal area. I heard this song I've never heard before, and it was one of those HUGE moments where I ran up to the counter and said, 'WHO IS THAT?!!' It was a group I'd never heard of called The Screaming Trees and the album was Uncle Anesthesia. Still after all this time I feel absolutely one of *THE* greatest album covers of all time (check it out! 😊) It was SO damn amazing it blew me away the moment I heard it playing there. They ended up being one of my all time favourite groups. Think Seattle Grunge, but with very strong Psychedelic overtones. Awesome stuff! 👍 I can't remember what I paid for it then, whatever the going rate for an album was. But, several years ago just on a whim I checked what the album was worth on Discogs, and back then it was like close to $200!
Oh yeah, that 1st pressing of Destroyer is frigg'n GOLDEN Bro! Always been one of my favourites of theirs. In my lowly and wretched opinion it has some of the very best of their compositions and also is one of their very best sounding records. That and KISS: Alive are my favorites of theirs. And yeah, LOVE those original 'X' albums, very nice find mate! Loved their unique harmonies and Punk sound that was all their own, especially on songs like Blue Spark. I think I have all their originals. *OOOOOOOOOOOOOOH*, okay man, NOW you are talk'n when you showed the White Label Promo of Exposure 😁 NOW, you are seriously getting into my neck of the woods mate. DAMN good album! Very, VERY nice! (and here I thought you only liked all these boring Singer/Songwriter albums! J/K there 😀😀) I must compliment you on your excellent wide taste!
I had to look it up, but I have some really nice sounding Black Angels albums and Morphine albums done by Lights in the Attic. Good pressings! Sure sounds like you guys had an absolutely LOVELY trip, good for you and some great finds Bro!

Ha I was 17 years old when I got the Black Sabbath debut record in 1970, to be honest I didn’t like it to much, was more into Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Neil Young at the time. There were so many bands to see live living in London. Looking back at those days and watching a lot of vinyl community type vlogs, it’s great that the music from the late 60/70’s is admired and loved! Remember seeing Black Sabbath and the Grateful Dead on the same day at the Hollywood Music Festival in northern England on May 24th 1970 great days! Also one of my favourite bands Family headlined on the first day! Got that Dennis Wilson album when it came out, excellent album 👍.
