About SIREN:
“Siren” takes us inside Bristol Cove-a coastal town known for its legend of once being home to mermaids. When the arrival of a mysterious girl proves this folklore all too true, the battle between man and sea takes a very vicious turn as these predatory beings return to reclaim their right to the ocean. The series stars Alex Roe (“The 5th Wave”) as Ben, a bright marine biologist who finds himself drawn to a mysterious new girl in town, Ryn, played by Eline Powell (“Game of Thrones”), who is a strange young woman with a deep dark secret. Fola Evans-Akingbola (“An American Exorcism”) stars as Maddie, also a marine biologist who works with Ben, and is highly suspicious of Ryn. Ian Verdun (“Life’s a Drag”) stars as Xander, a deep sea fisherman on a quest to uncover the truth; and Rena Owen (“Star Wars” Episodes II and III) as Helen, the town eccentric who seems to know more about the mermaids than she lets on. Based on a story by Eric Wald and Dean White who both serve as executive produces. Emily Whitesell (“Finding Carter”) is on board as Showrunner and Executive Producer. Brad Luff, Nate Hopper and RD Robb are also attached as executive producers.

EXACTLY! I've seen other comments bitching about how Ben manipulates Ryn but it's like uhhhh I'm pretty sure a highly evolved species like Ryn is can determine what she wants. Hence why she smashed a man who attempted to violate her through a wind shield. Ben and Ryn share a deep level of trust, consenst, and more than anything.. RESPECT

This has got to be the most beautiful moment of this entire show.
I'm so disappointed that Ryn’s relationship with Maddie kind of dissolved. Now it's just Ben Ben Ben. I liked the three of them together but since Ryn, Ben never treated Maddie the same so I'm glad she left his ass. Still, makes me sad to see that it also meant Maddie growing apart from Ryn in the romantic aspect.

Ryn better go back in the water and be with her tribe, since been on land she lost her sister and members of her tribe was killed. Its not worth it. Ben is obssessed with Ryn because of her song it aint love. Ryn is a mermaid a let her be with her people
Agreed it’s obsession not love & he won’t be free of it unless she leaves or is killed & laid to rest like Donna. Ryn made the right choice Ben is really annoying me this season
Ben is not obsessed with Ryn. Over protective? yes! Because when you love someone very much you can become over baring at times.
Y'all claim it ain't love but the writers show other wise when their together or showing intimacy y'all only assuming that because of his great great great granddad history which I'm sure is not the case with Ben
Or a lot of y'all are upset because Maddie got booted out of the love story between the two and y'all were either into that polymarine relationship or wanted a lesbian love angle to happen between Maddie & Ryn but the writers lost interest in Maddie and decided to work the straight relationship which seems to be a crime now a days in this world.

I can’t help but wonder.... every time they transform from human to mermaid, they leave all these clothes behind.... wouldn’t they just go in naked? Damn, that was a nice cardigan.... Are they frequent shoppers at value village? Littering?? The things one thinks about....
I think they retrieve the clothes. They probably sink or float around the area of entry. I also noticed they stash clothes in the woods lol.
In some episodes you see they have clothes stashed away in certain area's because they often return to land there if you think about it look at the ones for the up north they had that ice Shaq right on turn on frozen lake and the clothes that they put on or in that little Shack when they came up cuz that's where they frequently come to deal with the humans
