- Overall both together these parts were under $100 and no complaints besides the dipstick mounting was just not good. Didn’t come with the right hardware and is too close to the tube.

The dipstick tube is supposed to go under the intake horn and the bracket should be flipped upside down
That would make sense.
I like the random ripper at the end
Mine was an easy install but when I start up the road I get a horn sound while accelerating, or like running your finger around the lip of a crystal glass of water you get that loud horn sound, any Ideas checked for leaks around the grid bypass spacer and horn intake, no leaks.
What about the dash light? Is going to be on all the time? I’m talking about the “ glow plug light”
@@nanbogdan7232 never comes on. Glow plugs and a grid heater are two separate things
i got a 3500 if you haven't yet the stock turbo has a silencer ring take it off for a nice turbo whistle lol
@@trip6702 upgrading to a fleece very shortly actually
@@3guysgarage Hell yeah i just placed an order on a stealth 64mm a little upgrade from stock lmfaoo
Bro them welds are good. Also its like that on the inside bc the root pass when they were welding either went to slow or to hot. But it doesn't affect anything at all.
Bro them weld are decent at best
If you do this does it mean you won’t get heat no more?
Grid heater is used for cold climates to help with starting . I live in a cold climate area and can’t tell the difference in starting .
I have a 5.9 looking to do this set up where did you get the flange that thick I can’t find it on eBay
All this stuff is straight off eBay man
The dipstick this way will rub on the hood. I went under the intake.
No rubbing issues on the hood
Would be nice to know where you got the air horn For $50 lol a lot of people like to put where they buy their parts
Literally says ebay
What’s the reason behind the grid heater delete, does it affect anything?
Better air flow and really “emissions free” is how I see it. Not that it’s a big deal but it’s one less thing to go wrong that’s not really needed for us
So how do you get it cranked in cold weather?
Where did you get the intake elbow ?
eBay
Whats the difference between this and a horn from Banks or ATS??
This is still more free flowing than factory but the fitment and finish of banks and ats is better, but also more than double the price
