Barcelona News ft. USA Tour begins, Deco, Raphinha, Nico Williams & Dani Olmo

FC Barcelona flew out to the USA 🇺🇸 on Sunday for their summer tour with a squad consisting mostly of youth team players as well as a few of their more senior counterparts due to some major injuries to the likes of Gavi, Frenkie De Jong, Pedri, Ansu Fati And Ronald Araujo, as well as extended vacations for some of the other players who are enjoying extended breaks after having played in international tournaments this summer.
The squad was also accompanied by the presence of President Joan Laporta but also witnessed the absence of Sporting Director Deco who has stayed back in the city of Barcelona to try and wrap up deals for Barça’s summer transfer targets.
Reports in the media also add that an unnamed Saudi Arabian club has submitted a bid of around €65 million for Raphinha.

I think Deco will need assistance /support, I do not see him running the show successfully alone .

Both operations seem tough to be honest, but i think its doable regardless of how the economic situation looks at the moment. And yeah, I agree that Deco needs help even though it’s not easy operating within the financial constraints he’s had to deal with at Barça.
Should be a thrilling game between Barça and City though.
