I have the 2010 passenger train and even though the only bit of the actual train left is the engine with the motor, I love the set to death because it was one of my first big, expensive ones. Maybe I’ll rebuild the other two train cars if I can find the pieces for them!

Thanx! :) Even rubber rings are installed! In this case, friction is not only an advantage, but also a disatvantage! LEGO used to produce metal tracks to feed the LEGO electric motor through metal wheels! Why did LEGO change to this new track system? I like short four-wheeled shunting locos, and for me to build them I need the old LEGO metal-wheeled motor set, which is no longer accessible. Anyway, you have a superb collection! :)

I actually managed to find a knock-off set of the second one. it had a different train a boxcar a flatcar with a car a crane and a forklift. the only things missing were the truck the train(as I said it came with a different train it had a train with 1 cab not 2) the 2 axle boxcar(it came with a American type of boxcar I think) and the crane was missing that cab on the front(on the crane on this set if did not have it all the controls were on the cranepart)
1:08:38 I have this one Unfortunately the batteries died so it doesnt run anymore (I didnt have time to change them out and overtime forgot about it) it runs still except when placed on the track it dies. And its my only LEGO train set. (I may have plans to buy the last two in the video though.)

so youre saying the 7897 and 7898 trains are not sets? Clearly they are loosley based off the ICE trains in germany. In my opinion the 2006 ICE train is based off the ICE 1 train and the 2014 one is off the ICE 3 train. Also i have the 7897 train and im soon getting a sealed 7898 set.
