Hi there, is this sealer suitable for glazed (matt) porcelain floor tiles please? Also I take it that there is no need to use a separate grout sealer first? Thanks in advance

Thank you for the question. It can be used on matt tiles and the sealant will seal the grout as well!

    Two questions
    1)
by towel drying it, aren't you removing too much of the sealer!?
    2)
Can we always use the same sealer for grout and tile

Can this be used for outdoor unglazed porcelain tiles and does it leave a gloss?

If I'm going to use glitter grout, will it make the glitter less shiny? So maybe I should seal my tile before grouting?

Do you need to seal the porcelain tiles, thought it was just the grout which stains? I have white porcelain tiles, do they also stain upon spills?

Thank you for this question. The grout can be prone to staining and porcelain tiles shouldn't stain but we always recommend sealing the entire surface. We hope this helps!

Typical tile flooring salesman. He knows nothing about it. Porcelain or ceramic tile does not need to be sealed. About the only tile that needs sealing is saltillo or mexican tile. If you have regular cement grout, it needs sealing. Epoxy or urethane grout does not need to be sealed because it has excellent stain resistance. The best advice I can give you when picking out grout colors is to choose black, dark brown, or dark charcoal. No matter which color you choose, all grout will eventually become one of the aforementioned colors.

Black grout will turn grey or brown if not kept clean. Just keep it clean and it will look fine.

"Only do the areas you can reach"
Well, duh! How would I do areas that I can't reach, if I can't reach them?

He clarified that strangely worded sentence later with “only work on areas you won’t need to walk across” so I assume he meant only work on areas which are easy accessed.
