I've got the Helix as well. It's been a blast to be able to control my own reverb and delay at gigs. It's definitely a pricier route to effects, but it's so easy compared to having to try out and wire up various pedals and assemble your own board. One thing to note, if you get the Floor model vs the LT you have, it does come with its own XLR in/Preamp which makes things even easier if someone is starting from scratch. Word of caution, the guitar focused stuff is so good if you show it off to your bandmates they'll ask you to play rhythm and suddenly you're bringing 2 guitars, a cab, and your sax to every gig instead of just a sax and a board.
Thanks for checking out the video. Yes, I saw that the other models have an XLR in/Preamp. I'm sure that would be super handy! Haha, luckily my band has more guitars than we need, but that's awesome that you're so versatile!
Someone should really design a device like this with horn players in mind - focus only on sounds and functionality that we would use, and keep the price within down.
I would suggest Cecily that you take a look at the Radial Voco Loco to replace that Arttube. You will appreciate how much more it brings to the table for you. Other than that I really enjoy your reviews.
Hi, thanks for checking out my video! I also like the Voco Loco. It's a great piece; however sometimes I feel like I get a slightly warmer tone with the ART Tube Preamp. Here's a video with my Voco Loco: th-cam.com/video/Fd4H1mUrNTg/w-d-xo.html Thanks again for watching!
Thought this was really interesting video. I don't think there isn't a reason why you can't use digital pedalboards on other instruments rather than just guitar and bass. I've never played the helix but gigged the Headrush and Boss GT 1000 quite a bit. Currently using the Fender Tone Master Pro for me Ambient Synth Soundscapes. Would be interested if you decided to create the similier. I have about 30 Digital Tribute tracks on the YT Channel emulating guitar synths etc.... All my best wishes from the UK 😎😎🎶🎶🎶🎶

Would love to see you do a similar overview of the Headrush MX5

Agreed! Thanks so much for checking out the video!
If you don't need the guitar amps I highly recommend the Eventide H90
Play double horns through it!
