Men get over breakups quicker in my experience (not all men, but a lot of them think the best way to get over someone is by getting under someone else). I have a strong feeling that Tom is going to realize what he lost when it really stinks in what he did. Ariana truly gave him everything, including support and trust that he was very much undeserving of. When she's finally living her life and at her happiest, that's when he's going to start regretting some of these choices he made.
That was part of the downfall. Swartz was used by Sandervol because Swartz has a good heart and is a people pleaser amd wants peace. But hopefully he has learned unfortunately that Sandervol simply used Swartz. And I really feel for Swartz. His world has been turned upside down. I watched the whole episode and learned more about these people and their dynamics, then I have the whole season. Great television by the way, it was like a Eugene O'Neill play where you slowly understand why each character has the perception of the situation they have, and how each are a bit tragic in their own way.

Katie definitely is better off now
It was always quite obvious that Schwartz was emotionally immature and not ready for marriage. There's no room in a marriage for a third person...AKA: Sandoval☹️ Katie will be fine, Schwartz until he grows up will continue to be influenced by "parties" who don't have his best interests at heart. Hopefully he has learned from this experience that some people are not what they seem.

The Katie and Schwartz breakup is sad. It really is. Very different from the Sandoval/Ariana split which was a Blessing in Disguise for Ariana.
It's too bad they lost it all. They should have been moving forward together, but one of them insisted on moving forward with Sandoval and put the marriage on the backburner.
They were actually happy, there is still hope

It's true though my husband and I have been separated 5 years ago and after we decided to separate we lived in our apartment for over a year after just stayed in separate rooms and we both dated others and are still with those people..we know it's not going to work 18 years married and I thought happily but he wasn’t it's way more complicated than most people think
