    Brief History:
Shri Revana Siddeshwara Betta, also known as SRS Hills, is a sacred hill located in the village of SRS Betta in Karnataka's Ramanagara district. It lies 15 km from Ramanagara and 61 km from Bangalore, making it a popular pilgrimage site and one of the best trekking destinations near Bangalore.
Standing at an altitude of 960 meters, the hill is renowned for its challenging rock-climbing spots and the Shiva temple. There are three temples on the hill: Renukamba temple at the base, Bhemeshwari Temple midway, and the Reveana Siddeswara temple at the summit. The main temple, dedicated to Lord Siddeshwara, is a beautiful cave temple nestled in the crevice of a massive monolithic rock, surrounded by natural wonders. Lord Revana Siddeshwara is believed to be a reincarnation of Jagadguru Shri Renukacharya, one of the five acharyas who appeared in the Kali Yuga to teach and spread Virasaivism.
Visitors must climb about 300 steps to reach the summit, a journey made easier by carved steps, overhead covering, and protective grills. The climb takes about 30 minutes, and the top offers a stunning panoramic view of nearby villages, a picturesque lake, and lush farmlands.
