Yeah it seems like they probably knew at that point, seeing how Terry G. suggested that gag to Michael, almost seemed like it was a contingency they all planned out in case Terry J. started stammering.
Carol, in her earliest days, took in students at NCR's training depot nearby. I was one. She confessed to me that she was very unhappy about her career: only getting walk-on bimbo parts in comedy shows. We swapped awful jokes and she giggled a lot.

Wow, Michael actually says Terry Jones has lost the power of speech, because he was stammering at first. He had done relatively well though for 2014 considering how fast he lost his ability to speak in 2015/2016.
Michael always is so nice in his behaviour... it's obvious that he didn't realize how right he was with that comment. An innocent remark that sadly was spot on.
And I was riding a 6 " slugged year 52 Panhead. 2 fisted, Hairy Legged, Timber Beast, and Hard Rock Miner and Gandy Dance all week end. Yup. And the Bull of the Woods around here.! in 3 Mountain ranges at once.. Yup.
She doesn't have confidence in her questions. She asks something, but then tries to re-ask it before anyone has a chance to even answer. She doesn't have conviction in her delivery. She should just ask a question and if the interviewees need clarification, they could just ask her what she meant, without her trying to explain herself in 5 different ways while asking the question.
Precisely Dan, it's a form of "Interviewee Interuptus" if you will that originates in the interviewer's own insecurity rather than from rudeness. There should be training/selection for this sort of thing, I reckon the interviewer in this video could do a lot better with more self awareness.
Was a big Monty Python fan but was surprised that no one seemed to understand 'Vic and Bob' which I also found excellent as a further comedic step.
Glad to see Carol Cleveland is right there in the thick of them; as it should be.
Terry Jones was wonderful in Python.

Yes, Terry Jones lost it very quickly. He could barely remember his lines in their finale series of stage shows.
