I couldn’t tell you why but I simply love the tone and aura of this TH-cam channel like at this point I just come to the channel to chill

This is completely off subject but I'm remodeling my house and I like how you guys did the wall behind you.

Great review again man, always appreciate your outlook. Balanced perspective. I've only held one but really want to spend some time with one. Finally got my Malibu though!

The operator is definitely my pick of 'strider' knives but this was certainly something that I could entertain picking up for myself as it's a great carry in anybody's books. It would appear that I have a predilection for Strider large enough to start adding a few to the collection 👍🙂 thanks for your input Jake 😀👌

We typically just call those the 3/4 grind. The disc is an LBS (lock bar stabilizer) disc works tho🤷🏼‍♂️ CC SnG’s are great knives. However I often ask people to try different models before they write them off. I took a whole year to try all the production folders, and fixed blades (not all the WP’s that’d take a while) before I decided to settle with the SMF. We’re all new to the FWP!
Alchemy_1 does a good job explaining how knife company’s deliver what you should expect from their calling card. Strider’s happens to be “hardcore tools, for Hardcore individuals”.. or better known “forged for war”
Some are slicey others just tools.
    Great vid man!

    I think it's called a "Monoblock" construction.

I just bought an sng from a guy on Facebook. I’m planning to send it to Tom Krein to work his magic and make it a slicing beast.

What’s funny is that the percentage of guys breaching doors and doing the kinds of military jobs that Striders make one think of is probably close to zero.

I didn’t realize how thin it was. That’s pretty interesting. I always viewed those within the old school ZT vein. Overbuilt.

I think most versions of this knife are much thicker than this one

@@beardedgear good point. I commented before I finished watching your review. I looked up some of the other models and you’re right. This one seems to be pretty unique in the lineup.

Considering Mick lied about his experience as an “operator,” it’s probably more appropriate this way

Let's be honest strider is trash. Wish I would've thought one though would have made some money.
