Before they build the cross harbour tunnels or MTR in Hong Kong, the ferry was used to transport car across the harbour. The pier for the cars are at Central, North Point, Kwun Tong and Yau Ma Tei. With the new cross harbour tunnel, these ferries slowly die out.
