I picked up a load of resonator cards in a pack last night and hadn't seen them before so was reading them thinking they could be a very powerful deck, then this is the first video suggestion for me this morning! Absolutely fantastic work mate, keep up the good work 😁
Nice! List is basically identical to @truepowerlive and my list. We just cut it down to 40. Extra is basically the same. Nice to see two pure RDA decks make Master 1!
That duel with kash was fun to watch I was wondering how you where gonna win after the maxx c but after u summoned OG red dragon I knew what you where going for
At 17:35 negating scareclaw kashtira was actually unnecessary, because crimson gaia could have flipped it face down by attacking with RDA on either shangrila or unicorn, therefore preventing its negate. This would have allowed you to keep abyss’ negate as well.
The moment I declare attack on any Kashtira with RDA, Scareclaw Kash continuous eff triggers and negates my RDA's eff until the end of the turn. I think this effect is lingering, not continuous, so my RDA would still be negated, even if Scare Kash was flipped. Also, I didnt need to save Abyss's eff, because I dont think I need to negate other monsters' effects on battle phase than Scare Kash.
@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 Yeah there was no need to save Abyss but I thought it ought to be an interaction to be aware of :). Though ScareKash actually works as I said at least in the OCG and therefore MD, in the TCG I believe it should work as you said. I found a Reddit post explaining that the english text of ScareKash does not accurately represent how the card works in the OCG, here it is: Scareclaw Kashtira's English text does not definitively match its Japanese behavior. The below comments only reflect its Japanese functionality. They do not necessarily apply to its English version. Q: While I control Scareclaw Kashtira, my "Kashtira" monster attacks my opponent's monster. If my Scareclaw Kashtira later has its effects negated, or ceases to be face-up on the field, what happens to the effects of my opponent's monster? A: The effect of Scareclaw Kashtira is an effect that is continuously applied to your opponent's monsters. If it ceases to apply, such as because Scareclaw Kashtira's effects are negated, or because Scareclaw Kashtira is no longer face-up on the field, the effects of your opponent's monsters cease to be negated.
the deck struggles going second deck, so for that you need very reliable board breakers x3 evenly match x2 lightning storm x3 max c and bystials so to make it consistent I added x2 allure of darkness and chaos witch to compensate the draw 2 and banish chaos witch to have on the field 2 tuner tokens you can make Calamity right away and If you got maxed c you get 2 extra cards and you have a chance of getting bystials or max c for the next turn you always want to make resonator 1 card combo for last. Another good staple that I would recommend its replacing impermanence for forbidden droplet a good example is evenly or lightning storm plus forbidden droplet its so devastating.
Is it ok to push the deck’s card count to 45? I really like to add in board breakers to allow for more rooms in case of going second but cant find too much space to trim the core cards
@@ReidemnaYes you can. As of the decklist, the deck has 15 1.5 card starter, which means the deck should still be consistent enough if you play 3 more breakers (I listed the alternative cards in the video description). Still, you need to remember that the downside of higher deck size can mean you will have lesser chance of drawing anti handtraps when you go first. In the end, I think it's up to you.
@@Reidemna you can but I would say to be more consistent keep it at 42 or 41 allure of darkness its very important it can extend your plays and if you did banish a dark monster due to its mandatory effect you can bring that card back with bystial dis pater. i got rid of ash blossom and infinite impermanence they are not that effective in this meta instead I use max c, call by the grave for the annoying graveyard effects and droplet for boardbreaking with evenly match.
Question: why your scarlight rda didn't destroy your dis pater and abyss when it activates its effect at 15:20 without activating the effect of soul to not have them destroyed? Awesome video tho with explanation
Because scarlight destroys special summoned monsters with atk less than or equal to its atk. Basically, if your dragons are stronger than it, they will be safe from its effect.
The issue with this deck is its utter reliance on crimson resonator is destined for failure. Going forward the deck needs to get support in which enables the deck to reach a supernova without the reliance on crimson resonator and red rising dragon. This is what keeps synchron to being such a mid deck, cuz the reliance on speeder resolving is what decides the duel. The deck focuses on sychro monsters level 6,8 and plus, so In a headcanon world of more support (Speedroids got it so we can), Id like alternative routes to reach the endboard.
That's a good card, which will be better when Red Lotus King comes to MD. I like how it doesnt let you minus of Bone's discard, since you can recycle it right after
Have you survived the Branded Decks with this build. I'm just asking as a fellow Red Dragon Archfiend user? Or do you have a build that doesn't have branded cards?
I run A VERY similar deck to you like we run 3 different cards between us so I'm interested in youe tweaks it definitely better that 1st turn play I can ar best RDA, Abyss and Dis on my field adding bane so shocking I'm surprised i didn't see a play like that
in your new video you use both resonator call and stone sweeper at 2, doesn't stone sweeper do more than resonator call? in this video you have more resonator call than stone sweeper, is it because stone sweeper can be negated more than resonator call? they both get hit by ash or droll.
They pretty much do the same thing. Resonator call isnt once per turn and cheaper as well. and the deck doesnt play field spell, so you dont need to use Sweeper's summon effect. I guess that's all.
I dont think that's optimal, because you rarely wants to see 2 or more copies of it in your hand. Instead, you want to summon it of Crimson's eff most of the time. There can be a time when you want to extend with it ngl, especially if your opp negates Soul/Red Rising and you have any high lv monsters (like lv 6 or lv 7 dark dragons) to syncro summon scarred or abyss afterwards. Still, these cases are rare, and too many tuners (and no non tuners) in starting hand may not help you synchro summon, so 2 vision just feels right to me.
@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 ok cool and thanks for taking the time to answer cause I've been a little bit confused as to why I see people play two copies of vision resonator but now I know
Why don't u use 3 forbidden lance -dress to protect ur lv6 synchro starter? U can't rely on only one copy of crossout to avoid getting imperma, diabelstar trap etc. Sick replays and gameplay btw.
Those are good cards. The reason why I dont use them: 1. I dont always open them. If I do, I may need other staples for better matchups in general ladder meta 2. Lance can protect against Imperm (or spell/trap effects), but handtraps are mostly monsters and my games were mostly against monsters, not backrows. 3. Dress cant protect if lv 6 synchro gets targetted, because it's too late 4. Imperm on Red Rising can stop the deck, but people sometimes negate Soul Resonator instead (which stops the combo if you dont have other extenders). What I mean to say is, I sometimes use Soul to bait Imperm/Veiler negates if I have other extenders like Bone archfiend
@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 that's why these types of deck like RDA it's a Right direction in the game. Decks like snake eye have almost zero choke points and that don't create a healthy environment to the competitive and don't help people being better duelist because the deck is so busted that they can just auto pilot without being really punished.
People mostly dont play Alba Lenatus in my ladder. If you worry about it, I think you can negate Fusion Deployment, or if you play Bystial engine, turn your chain on, so you can destroy the monster opp set (like Albaz). Otherwise, it's bad luck ngl
@@LightDragon-DuelEnjoyer9990 I'm not good at combo decks, so I tried a stun deck. Could you make some videos about stun decks? Your videos are really easy to understand. Thank you.
I know this deck inside out and losing to just one disruption doesn't lead to master 1. Speaking from experience. Not to mention when going second is nearly impossible to win even against poor boards. With crossout designator at 1 it's a nightmare playing through handtraps/imperm.
A Nibiru to the face after resolving Rising Dragon and before summoning any of the Archfiend dragons completely immobilizes this deck in most situations.
There is a line that no one goes for that plays through Nibiru involving opening Crimson + Soul. 1. Crimson ef 2. Ns Soul add bone 3. Bone discard a card in hand to summon himself 4. Bone send Vision increasing his level to 5 and adding Gaia 5. Synchro into Scarred with Soul + Bone 6. Crimson ef to summon 2 Skynkrons Now you can get nibbed but Scarred and Synkrons will trigger their efs. Your end board will be Dis Pater + Fiendish Golem at least. If they don't Nibiru at that point you can use Scarred + 2 Synkrons + Crimson for Supernova that plays around Nibiru.
True, but Nibiru is only 3 copies max, and most only play 1 or 2, so you shouldnt get Nibirued every game (unless Konami consistently gives Nibiru to your opp's hands)
I can still make plays even nibured. This will only work if you have bystial engine, you activate lubellion you search druiswarm you special summon it and tribute it for lubellion I dont use bystials trap cards just the continuous spell then you active crimson Gaia to add vision and then you special summon it and you make dis pater.
