I have ruled out peripheral involvement, have upbeat nystagmus, chiari Malformation, vertical heterophoria yet have also been diagnosed with vestibular migraine. So can't there be both eye and brain involvement and a migraine diagnosis?

I have the dizziness with pressure in my head at 1 side and a pain in my neck. Do you know why I'm getting the pressure in my head?

    Thank you Doctor,
When I drive on HIGHWAY more than 30 minutes feeling light headed/headache and gradually my shoulders get tight and then I feel motion sickness. (Usually happens after driving on HIGHWAY more than 30 minutes).
Also, Hot air in the mall or supermarket and current hot weather also trigger headache and nausea/motion sickness.
Also, computer screens roll up and down and frequent movement of any items also cause lightheaded/headache.
This has been going on since Jan 2023.
Saw my primary care, eye doctor & ENT doctor, neurologist (brain MRI clean) and performed vestibular therapy but no relief. It is on and off.

@@ravikantghadge5972Do you mind if I ask, where were you treated? Diagnosed with VM or PPPD? And what medicines were prescribed? Did you see an ENT doctor also? Thanks for any reply.
I've been struggling for seven months and yet to be diagnosed. I will see a neurologist soon.

I don't believe this is correct. Vestibular migraine is a central vestibular system disorder and it may (but doesn't always) present with peripheral symptomatology such as unilateral hypofunction (ex. a saccule that doesn't work as observed on cVEMP sometimes). MRI imaging may be normal, but completely ruling out central vestibulopathy rules out migraine too.

Maybe this guy can help me get a diagnosis. When I walk, it feels like my brain is bouncing, off balance feeling. Like a slight sensation of falling with every step. It’s very hard to explain.
No one has any clue. Saw a vestibular specialist recently and she guessed that maybe it’s vestibular migraines but the papers of exercises have not been helping.
I’m so lost don’t know what to do. Can’t live like this.

Hey, I’m also experiencing this along with other symptoms! It feels like I’m falling into the ground or the ground is pushing me up. Doctors aren’t sure what it is for me either but I’ve also been having constant pressure and pain in my head and ears. They’re thinking it could be vestibular migraine and I’m going to take medication soon. Maybe talk to your doctors about migraine meds

If it’s vestibular migraine, I’ve read that exercises and rehabilitation can actually do damage. You need to take migraine preventative medication until your symptoms are controlled, then start exercises. Look into Dr Shin Beh

Find a neuro-optometrist trained on BVD (binocular vision dysfunction), who can prescribe prism glasses.
Also look up “The Ghost in my brain book”.

Same here. Did mri normal, ent normal, don’t have vertigo but occasionally headache but has been off balance after a quick walk. Sucks that I can’t explain the symptoms. Life sucks and I hate it so much
