The most insane thing in Public lobbies is that people will regularly say someone vented. They'll go for the hard accuse, then actually be completely wrong, and still somehow not be imposter
This pisses me off so much. Those lying "x vented" guys, people who instantly trigger emergencies for bullshit reasons, impostors that betray their partner once they're out and people who chat on Discord or something else that cheat by asking dead people who the imps are.
Yesterday a hacker somehow resurrected me from the dead but ONLY in meetings. Like I was a ghost but everyone else saw me alive and could vote for me, but I couldnt talk or vote. It was really weird. But the hacker convinced them it was me so they voted me out 3 times LOL. After the 2nd time the hacker killed in front of them so they knew it was him... but wait, they couldnt vote for him and only for me. So he won the game and then got banned. A very weird and interesting experience for sure.
The hack is so easy to get that it wouldn't even take me more than 5 mins to get it but I wouldn't want to use any of that, idk anybody who would use a hack in a game that requires social interaction with real people to have fun in it aside from no life party poopers.

They revealed that they were the imposter, and that lime was the other imposter. Then that person left. Lime, understandably, was pretty bummed out. So what we did was that we told everyone not to vote lime, and instead we would play a game of hide and seek. We set up the rules with the rest of the voting time and then we were off. It was really fun, and Lime ended up winning! In a group of complete strangers, we decided not to let some random dude ruin our game, and the imposter got a win. TLDR; In a public lobby, someone ruined the game early by revealing the imposters, so we turned it into a game of hide and seek and had a fun time. But most of the time public lobbies suck and make me want to chew my arm off.

Edit: since I'm getting so much replies saying "to know who was last with them", you can see who died on the vote list, so therfore you can just ask "who was last with green", as you can allready see that he died, you don't need to ask who died. You do need to ask who was with the decieded person.
Coming from someone who plays public lobbies a lot, the way to have fun is play a few games first to filter out the dumb people, because they'll usually just leave when they die or get voted out, and eventually you'll be left with people who are actually decently smart.

Purple presses the button again, says it’s someone else, everyone listens, they weren’t the imposter. I call a meeting and point out purple has gotten two crew mates killed and lime has backed them up both times so they’re the imposters. Everyone decides that’s not enough evidence and skip vote. I stare out of the ship for the rest of the round until we lose. Purple and lime were the imposters.

People who hack this game deserves to be banned. There was one time I died and was chatting with the other ghosts. We were asking each other “who killed you” and this one dude who was alive said “Inflake stop cheating and telling everyone who killed you”. The whole lobby banned him for hacking lol.
That could have been a kid with a glitch I had this glitch once where someone was dead but I could see him say yellow killed him. And ik everybody’s not gonna believe me but hey at least my brother who was with me at the time saw what happened so at least i have some confirming that it actually happened.

The exact same thing happened to me. The two imps called comms sabotage so I went to check who's fixing it from a distance, and witnessed a double kill. I reported and sure enough two bodies were shown as dead. I said it was red and yellow, they double killed in comms. I got voted out :/ And everyone forgot that I was innocent and red and yellow told that I was imp. They won the game :/

I remember a game where there were only five people left, I used the trash compactor, someone else scanned and finally I witnessed one last person trash compactor. Two imposters left and it was clear who they were, me and the guy who scanned choose one person and told the other trash compactor guy to vote him too. What did mr trash compactor do? He Voted the guy who scanned... we lost and he had left, practically everyone who was still in the lobby insulted him even though he had left, what an idiot
yeah but many people aren't smart enough to gather good evidence. it's only logical that they go by their intuition or via simpler means of gathering evidence (being a witness is probably the easiest)
I remember this one match where I was the imposter. I killed black in hall-way leading to cafeteria, hadn't seen blue standing just above near the emergency button. He pressed it and instead of saying "It was purple!" he says "HELP" So I turn it around and say "It was blue! He killed black in front of me!" and he gets voted off. This was a 1 imposter match, the obvious thing to do would be to call another meeting and vote me off. Nope. Won the game. But public lobbies are so infuriating! Trolls - they'll call a meeting for no reason, they'll be the only person to not vote even when everyone else has voted, making everyone wait for 120 seconds for no reason. Idk what sick pleasure they derive from being annoying. Hackers - they'll either have no kill countdown, or they'll skip meetings, or they'll instantly know who the imposter is if they're the crewmate. I was an imposter in this one match and within the first 20 s some asshat called a meeting and said it's me - I hadn't done anything! It's so frustrating.

Once a guy pressed the emergency and accused somebody just as the game started, even before anybody got killed. The accused one invited us to see him scan and killed all of us there. Just 1 imposter killed 8 of us and he won (the other imposter wasn't a cheater). After this we got to know that it was his fellow cheater who accused.

i use hacks myself, but not in a bad way, my client gives me all pets and skins and stuff for free, but it also gives me vision or speed or no cooldown, i never use those because its unfair, when i encounter a hacker that can walk through walls and stuff, i can cancel the meeting, enable unlimited kill cooldown and break his neck infront of everyone

Once there was this time purple called a meeting when there was either one or no bodies and claimed someone was the imposter. Everyone believes and voted them off. They weren’t the imposter. Purple presses the button again, says it’s someone else, everyone listens, they weren’t the imposter. I call a meeting and point out purple has gotten two crew mates killed and lime has backed them up both times so they’re the imposters. Everyone decides that’s not enough evidence and skip vote. I stare out of the ship for the rest of the round until we lose. Purple and lime were the imposters.
Welcome to public lobbies. Atleast you didn't get multiple rounds of being outted as imposter because people wanna team together and report who killed them OR hack so they can see imposter names as crewmate.
I once was playing in a public lobby. Once the game started, there was an emergency meeting, and some dildo randomly claims that I vented. Everyone believed it and voted me off. I'm still salty about it to THIS DAY!!!! The public lobbies are full of fuckin sheeps🐑🐑🐑🐑

yea...it's random when they decide to listen. but on average (in my case) it's usually whoever is first to say a name gets believed. I do this when I get caught as imposter to at least get another kill.
That's 2 against 1 tho, obviously they're more likely to believe the imposters than a single witness.
Not really, if one person saw a double kill, then get told off by two people, it makes the two sus rather than the other way around. But that’s from the overrated view of commonsense
The exact same thing happened to me. The two imps called comms sabotage so I went to check who's fixing it from a distance, and witnessed a double kill. I reported and sure enough two bodies were shown as dead. I said it was red and yellow, they double killed in comms. I got voted out :/
And everyone forgot that I was innocent and red and yellow told that I was imp. They won the game :/

The fact that public lobbies always believe everyone has a downside though, when that one guy randomly decides that you should be voted out and everyone votes before getting any evidence.

I remember a game where there were only five people left, I used the trash compactor, someone else scanned and finally I witnessed one last person trash compactor. Two imposters left and it was clear who they were, me and the guy who scanned choose one person and told the other trash compactor guy to vote him too. What did mr trash compactor do? He Voted the guy who scanned... we lost and he had left, practically everyone who was still in the lobby insulted him even though he had left, what an idiot
yeah but many people aren't smart enough to gather good evidence. it's only logical that they go by their intuition or via simpler means of gathering evidence (being a witness is probably the easiest)
I just got voted off for doing nothing 4 times in a row today and I wasn't even the impostor
I remember this one match where I was the imposter. I killed black in hall-way leading to cafeteria, hadn't seen blue standing just above near the emergency button. He pressed it and instead of saying "It was purple!" he says "HELP"
So I turn it around and say "It was blue! He killed black in front of me!" and he gets voted off. This was a 1 imposter match, the obvious thing to do would be to call another meeting and vote me off. Nope. Won the game.
But public lobbies are so infuriating!
Trolls - they'll call a meeting for no reason, they'll be the only person to not vote even when everyone else has voted, making everyone wait for 120 seconds for no reason. Idk what sick pleasure they derive from being annoying.
Hackers - they'll either have no kill countdown, or they'll skip meetings, or they'll instantly know who the imposter is if they're the crewmate. I was an imposter in this one match and within the first 20 s some asshat called a meeting and said it's me - I hadn't done anything! It's so frustrating.

Once a guy pressed the emergency and accused somebody just as the game started, even before anybody got killed. The accused one invited us to see him scan and killed all of us there. Just 1 imposter killed 8 of us and he won (the other imposter wasn't a cheater). After this we got to know that it was his fellow cheater who accused.

i use hacks myself, but not in a bad way, my client gives me all pets and skins and stuff for free, but it also gives me vision or speed or no cooldown, i never use those because its unfair, when i encounter a hacker that can walk through walls and stuff, i can cancel the meeting, enable unlimited kill cooldown and break his neck infront of everyone
