Firstly, after watching so many TH-cam videos filled with absolutely stunning and probably unattainable clothes I was stunned to see you went thru a real woman's closet. I loved how you sorted and helped her to wear what she owned. I was impressed. So much so that I started with my sweaters. Same technique. Thank you, good job.

I would also love to see her colors reversed for an outfit... lighter bottom with darker top for more balance. Not always practical though I know. Stunning lady! She was thrilled you could see it!

Make sure to use “archival”, acid-free, tissue and boxes to storage those heirloom pieces. It’s especially important for silks. I have some of my beloved Mom’s baby clothes, stored this way. She died last June and I’m glad I stored them carefully. No plastics or regular tissue paper or boxes should be used for long-term storage of clothes or accessories. Archival materials are expensive, but worth it,
Great video but one question...Dorothy doesn't seem to be high contract coloring to me...she has light eyes, light skin and light-ish hair. I would've thought she is low contrast.
Great question! Her hair shows up lighter on camera. And her natural hair color is dark. In person the contrast between her hair and skin is pretty striking. If her hair was much lighter she would definitely be lower contrast for sure! Really good observation!
Anne, I believe you may be thinking of value contrast, rather than color contrast. Value contrast is how the features relate on a gray scale. Color contrast just ticks off how many different colors are present in your features.
I really enjoyed the video! I was draped as cool light and clear, my hair and skin have a simular darkness as Dorothy's. My consultant don't work with seasonal system, but she told me, I'm somewhere between summer and winter. Now I'm confused, as Dorothy can wear black and other deep colors which I should stay away from (except navy).
There’s more to color analysis as I’m sure you know than a first look me show you. It sounds like your value contrast level is different than Dorothy’s.. if you’d like to send me a picture, I’d be happy to take a look. :) thank you for the comment!

I love everything I have! So I tend to keep alot of what I have!
but I’m ruthless if I don’t feel good in it, not flattering or not my present size!
