@@aSpaghettiMan Yes, well, given the spirit of your comments congratulations are in order! I see the therapy has improved things a tad; nevertheless, I am in agreement with your principal psychiatrist that you should return back to the higher dosages of both Risperdal and Geodon. i played trumpet for about 8 years,, and my comfortable range was the A above the staff and that was it. i feel like the really high screams are just ungodly shrill and painful.
Whenever I first played the double c and notes about that, I used the false mechanic where you just have your lips together and squeak. I have since realized that is the wrong technique and can play them fine now: However, when it comes to the triple a and higher, it feels like its the same problems I had with the double a and higher. Could be the same problem, could be how it is played. If that is the way it is played, I have also hit a triple c I guess.
You guys are a bit picky, but ok. I was never able to squeal. To me, getting the occasional Eb or F above staff was all I could get just shy of an annuerism - but I did pick off an Eb that some joker included in the exit music in a musical....I think it was Hello Dolly, and I couldn't believe somebody would write that in for the exit music.
this is absolutely amazing. I've played trumpet for almost a year now and the highest note i can hit is an E above high C. Keep in mind I play on a 7c and Mauricio probably plays on 3c or higher.
I've been playing trumpet for thirty years and on a good day I can get up to high Eb. I'm actually glad I can't hit those really high squeaky notes because then it's no longer music, it's a dog whistle or like the other person said, it's a frequency generator.
Marc van Cleave used to play quad high C on a b flat trumpet, if I remember correct. We are talking about almost 7.5 kHz fundamental frequency. The "e" in this video is barely above 4.7 kHz.
You might be tensing up too much going from C to E. Most of the time when i first started i would really tense up and instead of relaxed air it was forced air as if i was trying for a Double G. Try going from Db with the second valve down and practice backing off from your mouthpiece as you go open to an E. :)
@@xRapidFire52x its note slotting. The E is a terrible slot. The same thing occurs with the double high A and sometimes Gb. Past double G nothing really slots, and the double E is just nasty.

i can just see yer dogg smashing his head with his paw fist...
same for my cats
Lol
don’t do that
I did, also.
My favorite part about this video is that he actually played a triple high C.

I looked at the title and thought "There's no way". I have been silenced and my double c's seem like nothing in comparison to this. Incredible job.

Cheatwood91400 double G sounds good
I've played trumpet for 2 years and I can hit a f above the staff, the double g is as high as I want to go
Umm I've been playing for 2 years and can play the C# above the staff
The highest I've hit is a triple C. One time trying to squeak the notes out. I have video evidence. I matched with another Triple C video.

Yes, 3C
if you didn't have experience playing other brass instruments, an E above the staff is insane for only a year playing. also, are you still playing?
You can call dogs with that XD
Carson :3 I've your profile pic!
I suspect hes using the old squeaky toy in the 3rd value slide trick. I suspect this because he covers up the values with his bell in the video.
hahahaha ikr
Tyler Gentry lol someones jelly
No. those are real notes. Most squeaker toys won't go that high also. He also had all valves down at one point
you can hear the fluctuation in pitch
On the gflat he uses it

well you're right, I was just experiencing my relative possibilities, they're unused notes and sometimes in exeso it can hurt the mouth.
One whole octave above SCV’s 2018 screamer 😯
I'm not sure why the algorithm is blessing obscenely high trumpet videos the past few days, but I'm not complaining.
This was excruciating to watch...
Very nice, though!
In the end this actually becomes bird chirping. A true mystery has been unlocked.
