What is well done about this video imo is that harder variations are shown before easier ones, e.g first the level 1 vs graves to show the concept and then vs viktor where it really succeeds. Also how, for the later stages of the game, moments are picked where the teemo wasn't already ultra fed so you can evaluate the play rather than just how fed he already was.

I believe he was trying to get to xp zone safely, but thought Teemo range was smaller, or tried to do small trade with the shield. I’m under the impression that those players aren’t used to teemo, judging by the way they disrespect his damage output, and fall for lvl 1 cheeses.

Top picks:
cassiopea - land a Q and you can E him to death with no counterplay.
Rumble - arcane comet Q spam him until he's low on hp or mana and all-in. Rumble can farm healthily and easily with his W + E too.
I've been told ryze and annie are good due to point and click cc+burst dmg. But I've yet to play these matchups so feel free to test them.
Never pick voli - you cannot win with this matchup.

I can vouch for Ryze in NA low elo Silver-Gold. I've smashed my Teemo matchups with Ryze in Toplane during laning phase. He is my counter pick for Teemos. My go-to is EW to bind him in the middle of my minions as he wants to trade. Then I try to Q auto to proc Phase Rush and run away. Ryze is great since he's more ability based instead of auto based, so Teemo's blind does not help him

You can beat teemo in any matchup by giving up early Cs and surviving until you buy a spectres Cowel at 1200 gold. At least this is how I used to play against in many years ago and never struggled with the matchup

I don't know what Riot was thinking when they changed Teemo's Q cooldown. You'd think they would have a step in their design process where they take the character they're proposing to adjust cooldowns on and just build them full CDR.

So weird that people don't realize that yes he's ranged and stuff like that. But he's a guerrilla warfare specialist first and foremost. And guerilla warfare fighters use their surroundings and whatever they have on hand for an advantage in quick skirmishes and fights. And that's exactly how this guy is playing. Using the element of surprise, along with teemo getting more attack speed when he leaves his invisibility to turn the fight into his favor and winning lane. The fact that this is surprising to people is so funny to me lol

I would say you could carry as teemo also before the buff easily with dark harvest or pta and im glad to learn something new i thought i knew all strats but here some new ones especially with the long camping thats something ive never done but is actually smart

Other day at about 20 min in I sat up shop in the center lane, just camo and sat for about two minutes. No shroom. Just sat there. From the way the game was progressing I knew there'd be an ARAM center. So just waited. Fight finally happened, then I popped up out of nowhere, one shotted the support, hit my W and drive by'd the adc while getting the hell away. Didn't kill the adc, but I caused so much chaos on the backline so fast absolutely everyone reflex took sweeper. So the enemy team is hitting 4 everytime it comes off cooldown, not at all being strategic with them on where I'd place mushrooms, and I'm laughing my way to a win cause in a single play I spooked them so much they think I could be anywhere. I could sit back and watch them hesitate before engaging, waiting for someone's sweeper to come off cooldown. Because the sort of madman that would stand in one place for 2 minutes in a game about movement and momentum is a madman that could do anything. Granted, that was an extreme case, and it's backfired before too. But it was beautiful.

Teemo always been this strong, it's not that he can now carry, he was carrying already, people just didn't notice. Recent buff is good, especially if you are playing against sth like tryn or camille, but it's not that great to shoot up teemo in s tier or sth.
It literally shoot teemo to S tiear, he deals more damage now and is usefull without his ult

The part that is actually broken is the 3.5 sec blind like imagine people cry about morg rout and now his blind is making autoattackers almost useless in a teamfight so the cd is just a plus

As a Teemo main, I can tell at first glance this patch that he's going to be Top 1, he counters every single top laner in the game with 3 seconds of negating their damage, leading to either forcing the enemy to ban Teemo at first pick, or ruin their team comp by playing a mage on top lane (Ryze and Vladimir comes to mind of the conventional "Top Laner" mages, and Anivia being the hardest counter post 6)
I mean, look at what happened to the Viktor or the Lillia...

@@otakusatanist Viktor is the wrong choice since he still relies on a lot of skillshots and his significant trading tool (Q) can simply be blinded if timed properly or negate it entirely by just blinding and watching him run while with Lillia, it takes awhile for her to get going with her movement speed and when her squishy ass is going to try to hit minions teemo already brought her down to half hp and since lilia doesn't really have anything to dodge from Teemo, her movement speed is actually more useless than you think
Or pick malzahar, post 6 is rly hard, specially with that absurd wave clear.
@@Bubbble_Bear lillia is also effectively melee. A lot of mages do well into teemo because they generally outrange and can space him fairly well.

@Poyraz 2 Demirok Maybe but to me just the playstyle like Mundo but more brainless along with the power, cc and survive ability make him annoying.
There are a few Kench counter as previously stated, but you are true playing against him is always a chore and the promise of an annoying game.
@@wooof8575 Yeah, there was a ama some time ago with a challenger coach/top lane player. Stuck with me how he mentioned he bans/hates to see some champions, like Yuumi, Viego, etc. in his games not because he can't handle and fight them but because they change the flow of the game. They can cheese out lost teamfighrs by taking a reset, etc. They force you into their own minigame and it gets annoying if said game is too impactful. That used to be Volibear and definitely is Tahm for me.
Tamh only has two matchup in top where he is under 50% winrate,but riot wont touch him because the community is still busy complaining about irelia

The strongest Teemo I have EVER played was on-hit Teemo, with Press the Attack + Rift Maker Nashors, and Witt's End give you ABSURD damage, get a Void Staff and Rabadons cause why not and you're just auto-attacking to death, I did this until I reached about Diamond then it fell off and I just couldn't improve my Teemo gameplay cause I sucked, I never could get the Vision correct to stealth and hide, so I always hid in the dumbest and most obvious places. And If I hit a counter-pick, or an enemy was hyper aggressive to me, I would back down too often and not ignite like he would.
So my gameplay really only got me so far in Gold, and THAT was already an uphill struggle to get through as Teemo with my gameplay. I would typically surrender the early game so I can just safely farm Tier 1 or 2 turret until I came ... Online and would roll out into teamfights, by objectives I knew were going to be contested, so I'd place a few shrooms, when an enemy hits one they typically hit their Oracle Lens and from that point onward it's just melt everyone time.
The other problem is just how fucking expensive that on-hit build actually was, it was hard to maintain a good mental and CS and try to get picks whenver possible(Hide at red, kill jungler if possible and back off) until I'd have mental boom from all the harassment of other players lmaoooo. Now I just wanna slap Teemo games thanks to this, revitalized my love for the champ by showing me some good tricks and tips!
Haven't touched ranked in a year or so, so I don't know how I'll perform but gonna just one-trick Teemo. All about having fun afterall.
