This town is incredible! I couldn't believe such an amazing destination was so close to me, a huge thanks to all the people of Toba that invited me down. When I started my channel I really wanted to showcase places like this, away from the main tourist spots, do you want to see more videos on Japan's small towns?
Joshua! Yet another winner of a video, well done lad. Yours is honestly, one of The Best channels based in Japan. Happy to see you acquiring more $ubs, as I've been a fan since before you had 500 of them. Keep it up sir!
Cheers! After making this the city of Toba contacted me and said a few more visitors are coming recently (which is why they invited me down there) so I'm glad to see it having an affect!
The quality of your content is amazing! Fantastic! Thank you for giving us these! 👏🏻🤩 The growth of your channel is inevitable with the content that you do. Keep it up! 👍🏻
You Only Live Twice, right? I've only ever seen the movie, which is kind of funny too watch now because the ninja training location is Himeji Castle and the volcano is Sakurajima, both of which I've been to now haha
@@InakaAdventure yes it is very much a hidden gem. pre covid i was starting up a tour operating business in japan and was looking to offer the road less travelled options with mie being part of many itineraries. i had connected with some wonderful locals / ambassadors and was sad to not be able to move forward with the business.
Cheers! Make sure you drink a lot during summer it can be a beast over here, 38c with 100% Humidity on some days, total shock when arriving from NZ, but there are some amazing festivals to look forward to at that time as well!
I’d love to see the ama divers which I learned about a few years ago. Sadly I missed seeing Korean divers in Jeju but aiming to see the amas if I can in Japan
This looks like a beautiful hidden gem, thanks a lot for sharing and for the interesting and informative content ! Do you think that it would be okay to enjoy Toba without speaking any Japanese ? I have been to Japan 3 times, also to "not so well travelled" places, and have been okay so far.
You can travel there with none! The people of Toba are setting up English friendly guides for the area (check the links in description), of course having some Japanese will help too

The dry delivery gives me some real Clive James ‘Postcards’ vibes. Nice work.

That was an outstanding video! I first learned about the Ama by reading a James Bond novel (of all things!) Thank you so much for posting this!

Amazing video! Always putting amazing quality, care, and love in your videos! Thank you good sir
Much appreciated! This year I want to showcase more unique towns like this on my channel
Beautiful and crisp cinematography! Looks like I'm being emersed in the place without being there!
Amazing, absurdity brilliant. Great video to get more people to see Japan and all its hidden gems.
Cheers xcomer

Absolutely, if you contact any of the activities in the description they can help you organize with English guidance
☺👍👍
Thanks for watching!
how much japanese is required to visit smaller town like these?

Where is the weenus hat?
😂
@@xcomerzzz8928 I refuse to acknowledge his crispy footage and 10/10 B roll, I must know why the weenus hat was cut 😂
Just the tip was cut
This is a great video. I could’ve done without the AI voice though.
