This is why is extremely worrisome when the Crown Prince Frederik as a member of the International Olympic Committee voted, contrary to the decision by the Danish Parliament, not to ban Russia from the Rio Game. As a member of the Royal Family he is prohibited from having political affiliation and as such should always act in harmony with the parliamentary majority. What is just a worrisome is the fact that there will be no repercussions from the Danish government. This greatly undermines the status of Danish democracy as being one of (if not THE) least corrupt in the world and this isn't the first time the future King of Denmark shows a disregard for the societal contract.
