Our unit is back at the dealer for the second winter in a row. We bought new in Jan 2022 and it has been at the dealer for warranty work for over 15 months total... All items that should have been caught before leaving the factory the first time. We love the rig, just wish we could get everything fixed once and for all.
That really sucks. I feel so bad for folks when something like that happens. Who is your dealer? I don't know how close you are to Indiana, but assuming that your repairs are still under warranty, you might consider going there. I realize it is probably super cold there right now so you probably couldn't just hang out during the day like we did. You might contact the factory and just see (a) when they would have availability and (b) how long they would estimate for the fixes. Entegra has told us that as long as we submit our claims withing the 2-year window, we could schedule the repairs there a few months afterwards.
We had the same issue with our fresh water tank. We took our rig to a 3rd party RV shop while under warranty and they ended up putting wood under the whole tank with a piece of steel bar to support it. I wish I had them to the same thing to the Black and the Grey tank.
Yep, I've seen some similar fixes like that on the FB forums. That was what I was assuming that Entegra/Jayco would do.... I suppose the lesson is "don't assume." Ha ha. 😜
