I like Dig Dug a lot. Probably one of my favorite retro arcade games. I certainly loved this game, too. All the secrets, the jump scares, the gameplay, the boss battle on your desktop, the file exploring, and the story were all amazing!

“Police were called to the reports of a deceased boy in the middle of Augusta Road, North side of Belgrade at about 04:12 GMT on a Thursday.
The situation began after the police was called over an abandoned car found outside a road. When Police approached to investigate the area, they not only found notes dealing with the incident, they found a body of an 8-year-old boy, identified as Thomas Landes, found hidden in between a few bushes. But the body also had 15 stabs in his chest. The notes inside showed that the murderer, identified as Robert Ruchames, a 51-year-old man, confessed the whole situation as a "Mental Disorder Snap", as he lost control of himself, stole one of the worker's cars from his office, drove to pick up Thomas, who was his own son. After a few hours later, The police found Robert back his office and he was quickly arrested for his crime. Det Chris Daniel said "This is the sort of thing we do not wish to see in duty, a child doesn't deserve this sort of treatment, Especially from his own father, may let his soul rest easily."
Jennifer Landers, Thomas' mom said "I always knew he had anger issues, but I still can't understand why he do such a thing to our child. We all lived a happy life together. How could I not notice the signs?"

For those who never actually played the actual Dig Dug game, DigDug.EXE is a very simplified (and scary) version of that game.
From my experiences, the paths aren’t actually square, there are normally rocks and that once there’s only one enemy left, you only have a limited amount of time before the enemy manages to escape.
I’ve never thought someone made an exe based on one of Namco’s arcade classics and it’s my favorite arcade! This exe game is amazing, nice vid Sam!!
Honestly, I think these types of .EXEs should be made more. There are so many of them that are just walking simulators. However, DigDug.EXE went the extra mile by actually giving us gameplay. It's like Sonic.EXE meets Dig Dug meets Amanda the Adventure meets the Stanley Parable.
I noticed once the “.exe” side made itself known, the enemies began spurting blood upon exploding…

That's kind of Dig Dug realistic mode like think about it if this was in real life the enemies wouldn't be harmlessly popping they would still pop but squirt blood everywhere
