Hi, just wanna say, thank you Things have been hard for me recently especially regarding the danganronpa community mostly revolving around Nagito. I love Nagito and he is one of my favourite characters but it hurts how everytime I try to describe him or explain him or even go as far as to joke about the irony of his hate and what he has actually done on different online platforms, mostly reddit, I get misunderstood and sometimes bashed or argued with for the wrong reasons. People keep thinking I'm trying to defend the guy when in reality I'm really just trying to explain his character without getting called a random obsessed fan that thinks he "did nothing wrong." This has really taken a toll on my mental state and it makes me mad that it's due to our fellow Nagito fans that are toxic that caused this. I've decided to take a break from reddit and probably just half of the fandom for a while. I'm really glad there are people like you that actually understands the characters enough to even make amazing stories like these and keep my love for my favourite characters alive. It's so obvious that at least Nagito has a crush on Hajime, and the Danganronpa staff had confirmed he meant the line in this song to Hajime. "I know you're not worth anything, but why do you mean so much to me?" Also, the line "I am truly in love with the hope that sleeps inside you." Was mistranslated from Japanese into English. The original was: 「どうか忘れないで...ボクはキミを...キミの中に眠る希望を心から愛していると。」 A closer translation would be "Please don't forget that I love y-... The hope sleeping inside of you... from the bottom of my heart." I'd like to ask you to stop being so mean towards other people for liking ships that do not hurt anyone, as I took the comment you made as aggressive. There's plenty of reason to ship it.
@@KallanEl I never meant it to be aggressive. I just wanted to get someone to debate with me. I knew if I said a strong comment then someone would most likely notice and debate with me. Debating just makes me happy and I love hearing other people´s opinions and why they have them.
I was honestly... so shaken to find something so amazing was fan-made. I'm honestly shaken at the amount of work that had to be put in to draw each of these stills, sprites and animations... the most beautiful thing is the way you were able to capture Nagito, his feelings, his motivations, his ideals and thought patterns; something so twisted yet mesmerizing beautiful. In the hour I've spent listening to this song on repeat and watching the video in (quite simply) *unabashed shameless wonder and awe* at the beauty and accuracy of the imagery and portrayal... *god* I so want to hug you right now and tell you how grateful I am that such a beautiful thing exists! The motions and the video is so alive and beating with Komaeda's essence! Thank you! Thank you! And I'll go back to watching this for the next at least 2 hours of my life and come back daily afterwards

When you can't get over the fact that you're not going to see more contents about komaeda and start searching "komaeda nagito" on youtube. yeah that's my case x) i like so much that character and i can't get over him... with DR2, DR3 and the oav's ending i'm still in search of more things showing komaeda
Kimiki Satchi Yeah he is the new nagito (when i saw DRV3 first i thought that Rantaro would be the new nagito x) ) but honestly they are different and they can't replace each over. I really like Ouma but he is different from Komaeda... so i basically like other sides of Ouma's personnality. And that doesn't erase the problem i miss komaeda

Komaeda isnt exactly my most favorite character (that's Hajime) but I feel like I can really understand his character a bit better through this song, and all i have to say is thank you, because now I can understand Komaeda's twisted thoughts a bit more. thank you for an amazing work of art 😍😍
Ayyy fellow Hajime lover! Also Nagito is pretty hard to understand, unless you take time to understand his motives. He's become my 3rd (possibly 2nd) favourite character in SDR2, and I still don't understand some of Nagito's actions to this day. But that's also what I like about him, because if you understand every little detail about a character, they just become boring and unpredictable, right?
2:51 the way the pods changed into coffins was so powerful! They were put in the NEO world program to save them from being the remnants of despair, but in the end it ended up to a killing game.

Komaeda and hinata’s story is very unique imo. Nagito is an ultimate that always look at himself like a trash, he is longing for hope. Meanwhile hinata is just regular student who wants to be special, he is also longing for hope. While having the same desire, their actions are very different. Nagito wants someone else to be the ultimate hope and destroy the despair in this world even if that means smth bad happening to him. Hinata in the other hand choose to be the ultimate hope to destroy the seed of despair in his heart, he wants to be the person who shines in the world that is full of despair. Im so plesse lf this and that is why they can understand each other while still on the different side. When hinata remembers his past, im sure he can understand nagito more. And that is why nagito feels at ease with Hinata, but Hinata feel uncomfortable because he doesn’t want to remember that he was nothing before the surgery.
I agree with you so much. Hinata wants to become the light in the dark abyss of despair while Komaeda is waiting for someone to take the match out and try to light it. Even if he has to become the fire to start it that burns out in the end all that matters to Komaeda is that match lights and releases hope into the dark abyss of despair, overcoming the darkness and creating light for the rest of eternity.
Althought, at the end Chiaki make him realize that talent is not that important and he learns to be confident. He can talk normally with Nagito at the very end, Nagito of course now being in all his senses, and they all live happily ever after ❤

Your illustration of this beautiful melody made me adore Nagito even more then i already have. Also the way you illustrated Nagito's death is a hundred times more heartbreaking, you perfectly shown how Nagito felt during all of this, he will sacrifice anything even his own life just to make everyone's hope shine brighter! i have so much to say about this!!!!! first things first, your art style is STUNNING. wow. i'm so glad you decided to animate this, really gives it life! second: i love this song sooo very much, it's such an in-depth look at his character, how he's confidently willing to give his own life in the name of hope, how he views himself as better than boring, talentless, weak people but wants to be a simple stepping stone for the other ultimates. the "it only takes a second for your beliefs to fall apart" referring to him, someone who admires hope so much that he'd actually die for the sake of it, becoming a remnant of despair. he's such a complex and well-written character. a lil fucked up in the head, sure, but his twisted way of thinking is what makes him so captivating. ALSO. komahina rules. their dynamic is interesting to see, your portrayed them well!! obs.: that ending broke me man. nagito's death has got to be the most painful one because it was so slow and he was doing it all himself... i'm glad he got his (sorta) happy ending later :)
Truly this made me cry! When I saw the flatlines at the end my heart just started breaking down and I started crying so much and when it showed the heart in Nagitos chest. Nagito is truly a gem and I feel, in some way he lives as a part of me and I really love this more than words could express

This really shows how good of a character he is. He's not just a hope obsessed pyscho But hes not just a 'bean' who will do anything for hope. He went through truama and blamed himself for the death of his parents. It's sad no one understood him in the end

Also Nagito is pretty hard to understand, unless you take time to understand his motives. He's become my 3rd (possibly 2nd) favourite character in SDR2, and I still don't understand some of Nagito's actions to this day. But that's also what I like about him, because if you understand every little detail about a character, they just become boring and unpredictable, right?

Komaeda and hinata’s story is very unique imo. Nagito is an ultimate that always look at himself like a trash, he is longing for hope. Meanwhile hinata is just regular student who wants to be special, he is also longing for hope. While having the same desire, their actions are very different. Nagito wants someone else to be the ultimate hope and destroy the despair in this world even if that means smth bad happening to him. Hinata in the other hand choose to be the ultimate hope to destroy the seed of despair in his heart, he wants to be the person who shines in the world that is full of despair.
Im so plesse lf this and that is why they can understand each other while still on the different side. When hinata remembers his past, im sure he can understand nagito more. And that is why nagito feels at ease with Hinata, but Hinata feel uncomfortable because he doesn’t want to remember that he was nothing before the surgery.

I agree with you so much. Hinata wants to become the light in the dark abyss of despair while Komaeda is waiting for someone to take the match out and try to light it. Even if he has to become the fire to start it that burns out in the end all that matters to Komaeda is that match lights and releases hope into the dark abyss of despair, overcoming the darkness and creating light for the rest of eternity.
Althought, at the end Chiaki make him realize that talent is not that important and he learns to be confident.
He can talk normally with Nagito at the very end, Nagito of course now being in all his senses, and they all live happily ever after ❤

second: i love this song sooo very much, it's such an in-depth look at his character, how he's confidently willing to give his own life in the name of hope, how he views himself as better than boring, talentless, weak people but wants to be a simple stepping stone for the other ultimates. the "it only takes a second for your beliefs to fall apart" referring to him, someone who admires hope so much that he'd actually die for the sake of it, becoming a remnant of despair. he's such a complex and well-written character. a lil fucked up in the head, sure, but his twisted way of thinking is what makes him so captivating. ALSO. komahina rules. their dynamic is interesting to see, your portrayed them well!!
