- Remember the feeling of excitement as a child when you spotted someone who looked like you on TV? That rush of validation and connection is at the heart of why representation matters.
On this week’s episode of A Really Good Cry, I had the pleasure of speaking with Tan France, a prominent fashion designer, television personality, and author. He’s best known for his chic style and groundbreaking role as a fashion expert on the Emmy-winning series, "Queer Eye."
In this episode, Tan delves into how his unique background has shaped his perspective on fashion and identity, and he shares his journey of overcoming cultural barriers to become a voice of change in the fashion industry.
Don't miss this episode with Tan France, as he opens up about his life challenges, cultural influences, and the personal evolution that has shaped him.

Love that you started this and loved this conversation ! And yes I did end up following your journey way back because of Jay but your authenticity and energy made me stay! You are amazing! you bring so much value and joy to all of us and def one of the realest “celebrities “!
Hi Radhi, i absolutely love your aura, you radiate softness and peacefulness. I also just wanted to say that i discovered you without even knowing you were married to Jay Shetty so please don’t doubt that what you are doing is because you are impactful and if you are invited to a place, people will be blessed by your presence. Loving this podcast. Wishing you the best. 🌷
THANK YOU so much for listening xxxxx
I loved this conversation! It's incredible how although from different nationalities struggle with the same things. I can't imagine how hard it must be to be in the public eye. It makes me so sad how people find the need to add or say a negative comment about someone when it's so easy to just be kind because famous or not we are all human beings and go through difficult things.
thank you so much for listening xxx
FANTASTIC
Great conversation, coming from south asian community myself 🙂
I LOVE TAN. never watched queer eye but just whenever i have seen him he has such a real grounded and authentic vibe. And his house is amazingly decorated!! saw it on the archtetural digest channel. also 1:14:14 is gold advice. "one sentence of the key to being happy?: surround yourself with people that you love and respect and want the best for you"
Radhi, I really enjoy the engagement as you have a two way conversation with Tan France. It’s beautiful. Radhi, you hold yourself very well just being you. You have your own set of unique qualities and things that you bring to the table. It’s like sitting with a best friend. It’s very heartwarming. I haven’t seen anything like it!
We met you through Jay or thanks to Jay, stayed because of who you are.
thank you so much for listening and your loving comment xxx
