Absolutely refreshing video with appreciated opinions. I see the potential in Gerreyn and an AFL Club setting will hopefully get the best out of him. I felt Alex Dodson got the better of him in the SA/WA game and helped towards AA selection. People were cold on Dodson early as it looked like he might stick with basketball but he's now gaining a reputation quickly. I'm not sure about Gerreyn and I'm an old Richmond fan and remember a bloke by the name of Richard Lounder. Keep up the great work lads.
Thanks for the comment really appreciate it! I think Dodson will be a better tap ruckman no doubt. Something about Gerryn’s uniqueness just excites me though! I’ll have to look into Lounder too! - Deano
as a crows fan i’m sweating on no one taking Draper before us at 5, i noticed Cal doesn’t have him super high, but if we can walk away with him and Welsh then id be excited for the future
I think the question mark over Kayle Gerreyn is where he plays. Is he tall enough to be a first ruckman? If not, he needs to be a top-line key forward. I've heard he could even play as a key defender?
Great points! I personally think he’ll be a unique ruckman that may not dominate hitouts, but he’ll provide a lot of unique value around the ground - Deano
@@aflenjoyers It's hard to think of a ruckman who fits that description who'd be worth a top 10 pick? Tim English does that and he's a figure of ridicule.
I don’t think English gets ridiculed, but I hear your point that a player of Gerryn’s profile not having a clear comparison. I’ve been doing some more thinking and he may even be a bit of a Riley Thilthorpe type potentially. Either way I just really like what I see and I’m happy to be proven wrong! - Deano
I'm a WC fan, so I like Gerreyn with a pick in the second round or later. But if he goes in the top 10, I think that team would be hoping he's a legit key forward, which aligns with your Thilthorpe comparison. Or maybe Noah Balta is the more apt comparison? Powerful, athletic utility who might end up as a key defender?
He’d be fantastic at the eagles! I think realistically most teams will be eyeing him in the second round (or later) but I personally think he’s worthy of a first round pick. There’s always a bolter or two so maybe he’ll be this years bolter! Love the Balta shout too I hadn’t considered him as a comp! - Deano
I actually think that Finn is most like Heeney. Walsh is an accumulator. Heeney is stronger overhead and is more dangerous with less possessions. That is more like Finn's traits.
Yep sorry guys he’s definitely a 195cm key forward just a typo. Not sure when I spoke about him as a mid though as I compared him to Larkey/Cadman but thanks for watching and commenting! - Deano
I hadn’t considered Richards as a comp but love it! I think he’ll start as a halfback similar to Richards, so it’ll be interesting to see if he can develop to become a mid too
Great video guys! Thanks for the shout out 😊
Thanks Dylan! Congrats on the 1k subs love your work 👏 - Deano
Really great video! Very thorough and I liked the player comparisons. When watching Jagga highlights he reminds me a lot of treloar.
Thanks mate! Love the Treloar comp
First time finding your channel and love the video boys! I have no doubt you guys will blow up with more content like this 🔥
Thanks heaps really appreciate the support! Love your stuff too 🔥
Best video ive seen on this draft. Thank you!
Thanks so much we really appreciate the feedback! - Deano
Great list and even better for making it your own. Well done fellas
Thanks mate much appreciated! - Deano

That’s a fantastic comp!
Great take on Murphy. How ‘quick of mind’ is he versus Jagga (who my eye says is incredibly quick minded)
Both incredible - in my opinion Jagga has more pace so he can escape the contest with his foot speed, while Murphy relies on faster hands - Deano
You had Harry A as 182cm… mid. He’s a key fwd right?
195cm. they even talked about him as a mid buit all I've read is key forward.

This was my fault on editing

I think the Reid take then putting langford at 9 is a but wild but other than that an interesting list... Time shall tell the accuracy I suppose haha
It is a bit wild 😅 - Thanks for the comment!
Pretty sure Sam Walsh took Mark of the Year in his 2nd or 3rd year.
FOS played low minutes in VFL and still had 12 touches 2g. Gonna make a few recruiters and YT nuffies look silly at PRd.
He’s a high impact player for sure and I absolutely rate him. I agree he may make those that pass on him regret it. Thanks for watching! - Deano
Hoping dons get a smilie Langford or Lalor so hopefully you are pretty close
They’d be a great fit next to Merrett!
Norf need another key defender not an interceptor
We need a bit of everything tbh 😅
@@aflenjoyers yeah except ruckman haha
Where is Xaviour Lindsay
Had him as an honourable mention at the end - very stiff to miss out! I’m thinking to sneak him in the top 20 for the next ranking vid
@@aflenjoyersthink he is similar to Ed Richards but has the potential to be better

Sid Draper to WCE thanks
Him and Harley would be an explosive duo!
Love the lack of copy paste.
Thanks mate! I try to form my own opinions based on research and gut feel - Deano
