Bring me the horizon saved me from possible suicide back in college of 2011-2012. Which impacted me in such a way I feel like a grew with their own evolution.
In 2019 I used Happy Song to deadlift 705 lbs and 556lbs squat on comp.
You can say I have a unique place in my heart for all of their achievements in the music industry

@@djbazinet8758YES, IDKWTS is at the top of my fave song of all time, any artists. Hardly ever see anyone, even BMTH fans, talk about it. Might be because it was, to my knowledge anyway, never played live by the band. It was the last track on Amo, and at first no one cared for Amo, of course many have recanted their dislike for Amo so...

This song is even better live. One of the best live shows I ever went to they have a sweet light show and they had cool visuals on stage with performers dancing and doing choreography to this song. Bring me the horizon makes alot of great catchy songs they are super popular right now and killing it for good reason. It's crazy they used to be a deathcore band but doing way better in this genre.
BMTH is great live. I've seen a lot of bands live and these guys know how to put on a live show.

They should do any other stuff from that album. Pray for Plagues is the most boring song off it imo, just most famous due to music video.
Idk they might dig it, the lyrics are super creative and fun in that tune and it definitely hits hard rhythmically. The band oozes swag on pray for plagues imo

I was right up by the stage at their show last year, and it was one of the most amazing experiences I've ever had. Such amazing performers and stage productions.

How old are you? Not to be weird. But I've noticed a resurgence of bands I used to listen to in high school (2013). I heard my little sister, who is in high school now listening to Pierce the veil. I was shocked lol.
This is the album that got me into BMTH, but ive loved everything theyve done since, and of course their early stuff. LosT, their newest, is really awesome too. Theyre also awesome live

Ryan and George -- you two all always have fantastic analysis. This was my first time hearing this band. I like every type of music - for real - so I'm happy to watch you on a wide variety of genres. George went one step deeper than I did in his lyrics analysis -- the fact that it could be taken sarcastically - thanks for making me think in a different way. I was thinking of being at Tracks, an old club in DC, hearing an industrial song called "Join in the Chant" by Nitzer Ebb. When when my friends and I sang/screamed along at the top of our lungs, it was transcendent. This was 19990. In 1993, our song was "Hip Hop Hurray" by Naughty By Nature in a Baltimore club. You could not go into a club and not hear that tune. There is such a release in singing along and dancing poorly but freely, as you both noted. You all both bring unique perspectives, and I'm going to keep watching. Thank you, Ryan and Goerge!

Awesome group I agree loved the feel of this song and how everything was put together. The heavy at the end was perfect
At this point Lost in Vegas is a legit Music critic, specially for rock to metal. Of course they will have their preference, but they do understand already what the goal of certain record and can objectively pin point things that do work for what the record is trying to do, wether they like it or not.
That whole album is actually really good. They know how to make music.
I really really want them to react to Bad Omens now.. Because Bad Omens makes, what BMTH used to make. Music that sounds like this song.

This album is the best they have front to back for someone who's not super into much heavier music, keeps the listenability of alt rock music, with some of the grit and vibes of metal, super enjoyable album, doomed and avalanche are some of my other fav tracks off this album

Same dude that’s what I want. Having been a fan since CYB it’s great seeing people check them out but it’s always the new shit. I think there is a hell would be a good mix. Don’t go or blessed with a curse, even suicide season from the previous album are all some of my favorites.
@@joebk44 I was only really into them during CYBs. I don't hate them or anything like that, but they just don't do music for me anymore, and that's fine. Although "Can't You Hear My Heart" is definitely catchy. I think the last last song I truly liked by them was the one where in the video, Oli was in an ambulance.

Finally you got it! I think there're better respresentations of when they get in this pocket tbh, but still great. NOW, you GOTTA do Parasite Eve (or Ludends works too). Those are like Happy Song but over a 1000, at least for me. It really shows their versatillity as musitians. It blends together most of the sounds they've dove into up to that point, which is not that long ago, cause the songs are from thier last album

One of my favorite songs from BMTH that I think y’all should check out is The House of Wolves. One of their more aggressive songs in terms of lyrics and the power Oli sings with.
It's surprising to me that these guys haven't reacted to anything AMO or later. I'm not saying it's there best work, but it seems more these guys speed as BMTH went more post-genre. I like all eras of course, but lack of Sempiternal is odd considering it's the breakthrough song where they became accessible. On top of the BMTH fans know the Can You Feel My Heart and Throne are both the token clean electronic songs at the first-half of the albums (MANTRA and Crucify Me are the others... I'd argue Music To Listen to and PH:SH they incorporated it into their style entirely though)
