What Jacob describes about films having explanatory introductions was actually a thing at the advent of film. It was a carryover from theater plays having hosts who would introduce the show. It lasted a surprisingly long time, especially in films that were more shocking or controversial. Hitchcock is a great example, some of his films still contain the intro bit where he does it himself!

I genuinely love every moment of this episode. It's like pure, distilled Drawfee essence with so many callbacks and new refernces blending together. Amazing work, and amazing art!
Also I absolutely would buy a shirt or boxers with Sluttony on them!!
I'm truly understand their definition of "hog wild" from their Taking it Easy episode while watching this.
I love that you can clearly see in each episode their slow easing further and further off the rails.
The fact that Karina casually mentions my favorite musical artist Janelle Monae really went the extra mile. I was already sold on this episode by Nathan's description of the ideal movie moment
i feel like drawfee has got so much lore that if someone found drawfee today they would think they are speaking another language
Horton doesn't even need an instrument to play the blues! Elephants trumpet with their trunks.
this one is truly a modern classic it had so many consecutive attacks to my sanity that I would need to watch it again to remember them all
I usually feel pretty lost during these, but I really enjoyed this episode. Thanks.
The energy of this ep is wild. I have no clue what’s going on but I’m enjoying it.
And how dare Karina mention the jar
Oh my god, we got a “Naaaaaaathan”! What an unexpected treat! It’s like finding a $20 bill in a coat pocket that you haven’t worn since last year. A true delight!
I just want to appreciate the amazing full circle of jokes that lead to the moment in 32:50
I completely lost it at that point! Julia is a treasure! 😂😂😂
haven't made it there just yet. I will be back in roughly 5 minutes
oh that was beautiful
@@tortillachips3911 haha thanks for coming back to comment :D
wow the “our god is an awesome god” reference was so specifically for me, and as a kid a youth pastor once mistakenly called me Kevin, thank you drawfee
Speaking of Eurodance, Karina really perfectly described Günther & The Sunshine Girls💀
Hmmmm...you touch my tralalala...du-rum-tum-tum 🤣
What she read is actually a text post on the internet about eurodance music! I don't remember the original website, but I found the textpost on tumblr.
My name is Kevin! I really appreciate all your references and actuality got each of them! I felt exponentially invested in the episode! And while very funny, Sluttony definitely isn't my style, good call. Love you all and sending positive vibes!
Can't wait for the Drawfee fan animations and compilation edit videos that address Nathan specifically
I'm convinced they were on the same mushrooms that they were drawing this episode. So many giggles this ep
I feel like people actively avoid complimenting jacob in the comments in fear of what power he might gain.... Anyway nice drawing jacob
9:22 The way they just completely ignored Karina's comment here about the jar SHFHAJFJJA
This had me snort-laughing in a hospital cafeteria, which, given the circumstances, I greatly needed. Thanks so much! (Also I'd wear the booty shorts but have no money so I guess it doesn't matter)
Jacob immediately clocking Karina drawing the scarlet letter at 28:21 kills me every time
something about the energy in this episode seems different, but i’m a good way. it’s so chaotic and all over the place and i haven’t understood a single thing anyone has said but i’m living for it
What Jacob describes about films having explanatory introductions was actually a thing at the advent of film. It was a carryover from theater plays having hosts who would introduce the show. It lasted a surprisingly long time, especially in films that were more shocking or controversial. Hitchcock is a great example, some of his films still contain the intro bit where he does it himself!
Wow, this is top tier honestly! Also, did not think it would end up including a short pondering if adultery was lust or jealousy with the conclusion of "depends on the motivation". Huh! You never know where these episodes will go, and I love it
I don't know how y'all keep brining in new and even funnier shit, I don't think there was more than a second of quiet in this one, truly chaotic but extremely uplifting
Suggestion: The original power rangers series had a monster-of-the-week structure with villains that, thanks to fx makeup and costuming, had VERY silly designs. I would love to see y'all draw some of them based on name and/or description! Some good ones would be Pudgy Pig, Eyeguy, Shellshock, or Spitflower
The entire thing has to be in rap as bad as Pumpkin Rapper's
Karina's looks like the illegitimate love child of Mario and Toad all grown up and back to find out why Mario never came back from going out to buy a pack of smokes.
Apparently Karina keeps her anime figures in jars.
If you know, you know! :D
@@HazeEmry I know ✋️😥😔😌
@@Nell-r0se I had blocked it from my memory so well that I didn’t get it the first time I watched this video, but I watched it again and unfortunately I remembered that I do know 🥲
I hate that at the end of Nathan's drawing (9:22) Karina makes the joke about 'looking at [her] favorite anime figurine... *inside of the jar*' and I knew what she meant
the energy in this episode makes me feel like i’m drunk
Hoooboy, I was NOT ready to be absolutely flatbacked by a Rich Mullins reference (30:13) in my daily dose of Drawfee. Nathan really just sent me into bluescreen mode. Well played, sir.
