When you setup scan there is an option to check what type of object it will Scan like tables ,sp, view. Please check that. I am traveling hence i cant send you snapshot or help more. Sorry for that
If I use copy data from Azure sql to data lake for few entity using ADF and databricks. I add both source here, will it be able to create data lineage for that by itself.
I am trying to figure out usage of this tool for enterprise data ware house where we get data from various sources, can it automatically add some catalouge or lineage for 100s of entities.
Hi Ashok, Yes this is built for enterprise warehouse and once we register our sources we need to scan source and all column info and other info will come and we can edit it as per our need. following is video which as source added as sql, cosmos and blob th-cam.com/video/piFv_5ZxtPg/w-d-xo.html

currently data source for lineage is being supported data factory and data share. and once we connect it find lineage from source

these methods are old. have you created a new video since this was made?
yes true. this very old video when purview came. i did not get time to make a video on purview from them
