Just a tip for skincare - moisturizer acts as a barrier and makes it more difficult for products you use after to sink in. Recommended order for your routine is usually thinnest to thickest product - so cleanser, toner, serum, other treatments, then moisturizer! Might help the differin be more effective. Also, a game changing skincare product for me has been the paulas choice BHA exfoliant. If you’re looking to switch up your routine I’d highly recommend checking it out! Hope this is helpful 😊
Haha! I'm beginning to realise this is happening to me...and my little girl is only just about to turn 7! She's a sucker for lip balm, gloss and blush!
Always give me great ideas Jenn so thank you so much. It’s hard to think clearly when you’re so busy so I do appreciate all your videos. Take care and good morning from Australia 🇦🇺
We have the double trash rollout like you do. I saw this hack on FB, put 2 command hooks on both sides of the trash container upside down to keep the bags up and I load both of them up with 4 trash bags and that way I don’t have to put new bags in it which is a timesaver plus if the top bag has a leak, the one below catches it which is very nice and keeps the trash can clean.
Good for you for making healthier changes for your family. I notice in my own family that when the kids grow up around healthy foods they learn to love them and not really crave the junk. You’re giving your kids a gift of good health.
I used to live in Colorado and I always kinda scoffed at Texas for shutting down in the inclement weather. I get it now. I live in Texas now and the issue is that they don’t plow the roads. They don’t salt the roads. No systems are made to withstand freezing temperatures. So that’s why we struggle so much the once in every 10 years it gets super cold. Totally get it now!
There is a channel on here called The Family Fudge, she has a series called bunches of lunches. She makes very elaborate lunches, but you may be able to get some ideas from her channel. if you haven't already seen her stuff.
Roast beef sandwich spread, chicken spread . Jello cups. What about macaroni salads with meat and vegetables? Just a thought. My boys when they were in school enjoyed those types of school lunches. My oldest liked potatos salad with chicken breast chunks to eat with it. Hope you find things to change up their lunches!
So far we've gotten at least 45 inches of snow this winter. It snowed 4"more yesterday. Can't take it anymore. I had a Built bar this afternoon. ShopRite sells them but only 2-4 flavors. I bought two flavors the other day. I used to do a load a day of laundry but now I do 2 loads on Monday and 2 on Wednesday (usually my two days off a week) and then I try to do the rest before work on Th. I work 2-8 or 3-9.
I just got in touch with my friend from Sn Antonio after not being able to get in touch for 5 days. She was sitting on her porch in 70 degree weather, whew what a whirlwind that was!!!
Yes I have that issue to...a lot of things I love get discontinued. So I stock up as well if I get worried. I loved making the kids fun lunches to or what they liked. It was so nice to know how happy they were going off to school. Nice to relive that a bit here :) I still get my daughter fun groceries to take off to University apt., when she pops home, which I guess is kind of the same.
I’m in Arkansas and we got 18 inches at our house, lost power, and the wind chill was 15 below. We live on the lake so we were at least prepared with firewood and a generator but it was rough. We were snowed in with no way out for a week. Can’t believe we all made it out alive😂
I live in Northern California and we don't get snow in my city but two hours in a couple of directions from me and people can have really difficult weather sometimes. Especially near Reno/Tahoe but it seems like parts of the country are having whacky types of weather over these last few years. Also, I wish we had Aldi here but so far that has never happened. We have a chain of stores called Grocery Outlet. There is a keto blog called Wholesome Yum that has a good pancake recipe on there.
Unless you have a sensitivity to adapalene or any Vit A, you should put it on first so it all gets soaked into your skin. Bigger bang for your buck...Then follow up with your other skin care and moisturizer. 💓
We really had a rough time here in Central Texas.. We had no power or water for 4 days.. It was 40 degrees in our house It was miserable. we finally got a motel room.for us and our 2 cats and our dog.. All restaurants were closed as well. But we did find vending machine with chips and candy. It was really weird as all grocery stores sold out of food.. and water...I’ve never expierenced anything like it before. Texas weather is weird all ice and snow is gone and it was 73 degrees today . Geez I don’t know how you deal with all that snow!, I’ll take our hot summers any day😊😊
I was in my 20's when I went tanning, good times. :) I wonder if the chin break out is from the mask, I've noticed my chin also seems to break out when I've had to wear it for any extended time. My 8 year old gets little bumps too on his chin and around his mouth which I'm sure is from the mask, since he has to wear it all day at school. I used to use my mom's Mary Kay concealer when she left for work from time to time. I definitely need new ideas for my son's lunch, so I will be watching to see what new ideas you give me. I also wanted to ask if your new eating habits means no alcohol? I'm trying cut back on my sugar as well, but I do enjoy my vino on the weekend.
I have purchased 2 boxes of the built bars since you introduced them recently. I really enjoy them and I haven’t found even one I don’t love! Thank you Jen! And thank you for the code.
I’m having breakouts along my jaw line. I think they are hormonal based on when it happens, but we also call it maskne at work. I recently got a bunch of the Ordinary skin care and I’m really liking it.
I used your code a few weeks ago for the built bars. They are extremely low in ww points only 3-4 depending on which bar. I got them for myself but my husband has ate majority of them and they have gotten his seal of approval!!! For us, the texture and flavors are somewhat comparable to a cross between a charleston chew and a milky way. So so good and a great meal substitute!!! Highly recommend!!
I love that lunchbox meal book. I have borrowed it from library several times. I used it for myself and my kids but now they are to grown for packed lunches.🙄 I absolutely love your videos. We share our love for Rachel Ray shes amazing. Have a fantastic evening 😀
Hey Jen once I started noticing my daughter interested in my makeup, I took her to buy her own always just enjoyed doing the little things for me, but I know it meant a lot to my daughter, as always love your videos ❤️
Crocs are great for support. They’re ugly but the only thing I can wear. I have bad arthritis in my feet and knees. Crocs are the only thing that cushions me enough. I buy the bistro ones. They don’t slip on any wet surfaces. They’re made for hospitality workers, nurses, doctors, etc.
My daughter is an esthetician and makeup artist. She said breakouts along the jaw line and on the chin can def be hormonal or can also be stress related😒
These are some of the sandwiches I make: Shredded chicken and pickled slivers of gherkins. Cheese spread with slice tomatoes or olives ( very tasty) Tuna and cucumber slices Grilled Luncheon meat slices with grilled tomatoes Low salt halloumi cheese and tomatoes Sausages and tomatoes / sausages and cheese slices or sausages with few potatoes fries in them in finger bread, Breaded chicken burger / or beef burger sliced in bread rolls.
Love these style videos! Try Siete grain free chips, they are so good, top notch ingredients and you can get the lunch size bags for the kids walking tacos🌮 they even have nacho flavor:)
My 7yr old son loves what we call tuna egg salad. Today for lunch I had pepperoni and salami with provolone on the ole wraps your daughter loves. I can see why she can it it everyday. I can’t wait till tomorrow’s lunch!
It’s a thing-my husband warned me to not run into the snow piles along the edge of the driveway. The snow was frozen so hard yesterday and then today it was 40 degrees in Iowa and lots of melting.
As someone who spent 12 years in lunch rooms as a lunch aide, you may want to rethink the eggs and tuna for lunch options. In my experience they don't keep well and the smell can be off putting to others in the lunch room. I know lunches are hard! I used thermos for soup, pasta and or chili for my kiddos back in the day when it was cold outside.
Ha-3 daughters here (14-23), my stuff is ALWAYS missing, but “ no one” took it. Lol. Pretty soon all your gifts are you trying to get them stuff so they leave your stuff alone.
One of my favorite lunches right now is bean tostadas! I either put refried beans or black beans on a tostada with the standard taco toppings. Soooo good and simple. I also really like to make air fryer falafel and serve it on pita bread with cucumbers, onions, and tzatziki sauce! :)
Tan in a can girl it’s a game changer!! It’s not like it use to be you can different shades I wear the light in the winter and fall months and the medium for spring and summer unless we’re going to the beach then I use the dark it’s really come along way!!
Tex-mex bowls with taco meat, black beans, corn, salsa, peppers go over well in my house. They're good without meat, too. Or hummus and tzatziki veggie bagels. I add cheese to mine.
Hi Jen, Love watching your videos! I kept watching for your PO box opening but didn't see it. Not sure if I missed it or you haven't done one in a while? The last one I remember was around Conners birthday. Did I miss the latest? Anyway, I love how you're trying to reduce sugar for the family; I'm getting some great ideas from you. I also love how real you are....you're one of my favs!!!
Ditto, Johanna...(or with Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil with no SPF.) 🌞 I am 60 now and have paid for that nice tan dearly. Plus I live in SoFlo, where even an older wiser me still gets too much sun, unintentionally.
ALWAYS enjoy your content! Very Motivational and Informative!💯💯 You have had me Really checking the sugar intake, after the "demonstration" 😱😱 All I can say is *Thank you*
Awesome as always! Hey Jen - I just got an instant pot and air fryer. I'm late to the game and a newbie! I know that you cook in yours often, but how about making a video for instant pot/air fryer for dummies :) maybe a recipe or two and a few tips? Take care! Thanks! C
Aww I remember “ borrowing “my moms makeup as a kid and so you still relax and drink a cold beer or wine or did you stop that too? Love that you guys are changing eating habits I’m always changing more making everything homemade now as much as I can
I love that Neutrogena moisturizer!!!! I just discovered it, I got the fragrance free one and it’s fantastic. I’m really picky with moisturizer and have experimented with really pricey ones, and all kinds of drugstore ones, and I’m pretty sure this is my fave of all of them so far, it’s so good. I feel like we both watched the same youtube video about skincare recently. Does your daytime regime include cleanser, vitamin C, moisturizer, and sunscreen lol?
I got free tanning as a teen and then had a tanning bed at my house! Sooo ya not so healthy. I was obsessed. Now I am so pale. My legs never see the sun. You looked so fresh after your skincare routine! My kids love walking tacos!
Can't you use the Starbucks rewards for the dairy swap? Yes to breakfast for any meal. My TX friends said they aren't used to the snow/cold and lack of equipment. Houses not built for this either. :-( So sad the damage caused. Glad temps are warming up. Bosch should sponsor you! No way I could pile that much in my dishwasher and get it clean. How about a video on your swaps for less sugar?
I've been switching back in forth between decaf Americano w/unsweet cinnamon dolce & decaf Almond milk honey flat white. I'm drinking a flat white right now at 10:45pm..🤷♀️☕ 🤣
Used tanning beds through my early 20s. I keep telling my daughters how it’s bad for u now and to always put sunscreen on at the beach! 😊 I’m checking out Built Bar!
Jen, is your laundry room upstairs? I always thought that would be so convenient in putting away clothes. My hubby actually does alot of the laundry and teaches my son with down syndrome also
I am in Texas and it was horrible. Whats crazy is in 5 days we here in North Texas from -16 to 70 degrees yesterday! We just got out power back yesterday, and our water today. Its been a mess. Our kids schools are all damaged, its a giant mess. Never in History has all 254 counties been under the same winter storm warning....
I'm about your age, very fair with freckles and blond hair....sadly, I did visit the tanning bed a dozen or so times in college (before spring break...I didn't even go anywhere!). I do go get an annual skin check but I'm sorry I ever went. 🙄 My girls are fair too and have no interest in tanning, thankfully!
I used the tanning bed in high school. Mostly because I was made fun of for having such white legs. I am a red head with freckles and very pale. I was very self conscious about all that in school so I thought I could tan but really just got burnt. I would never go in a tanning bed now.
It's a splash guard to keep grease or oil from splattering all over the stove or backsplash. You can usually find them wherever you purchase frying pans😊
Mandy Allen sorry! I thought she was frying the bacon! The screen is a cooling/baking rack that you can use to cool cookies and baked goods after taking them out if the oven. They are great for catching anything that drips while cooking.

When my daughter went to college, my wardrobe, makeup and skin care all diminished by about half. Apparently we were "sharing" all my stuff.
Haha! I'm beginning to realise this is happening to me...and my little girl is only just about to turn 7! She's a sucker for lip balm, gloss and blush!
My kids are 2 and 4. Going to the grocery store alone feels like a vacation. Lol!
Always give me great ideas Jenn so thank you so much. It’s hard to think clearly when you’re so busy so I do appreciate all your videos. Take care and good morning from Australia 🇦🇺

I was raised in South Dakota. We didn’t have snow days but heat days.our school was 80 years old. So no control air .🌞
Please post how the sandals feel and how support is.. Your awesome sauce!!!

These are my favorites of your videos, feels like we are coming along with you on your day/evening-thank you :)
Glad you like them!
I am newer to your videos but I really appreciate you and love your content and personality 💛
Built Bars....amazing! Thank you for the suggestion.

The lemon almond cheesecake is amazing.
Hello Jen!! Great way to continue my day after work watching your videos ☺️ waiting on my Builtbar order to be delivered

OH! We tried the Built bars! So good. My husband loves them.
I bought my son in law built bar for Christmas cuz he lift weights and he’s a wrestling coach. He loved them and has already ordered more❤️
I love that lunchbox meal book. I have borrowed it from library several times. I used it for myself and my kids but now they are to grown for packed lunches.🙄 I absolutely love your videos. We share our love for Rachel Ray shes amazing. Have a fantastic evening 😀

Yep tanned all the time
Thanks for sharing with us Jen 🖤
Do the built bars have a granola bar type consistency/texture?
These are some of the sandwiches I make:
Shredded chicken and pickled slivers of gherkins.
Cheese spread with slice tomatoes or olives ( very tasty)
Tuna and cucumber slices
Grilled Luncheon meat slices with grilled tomatoes
Low salt halloumi cheese and tomatoes
Sausages and tomatoes / sausages and cheese slices or sausages with few potatoes fries in them in finger bread,
Breaded chicken burger / or beef burger sliced in bread rolls.
We are currently 100” below our normal snow fall total in the UP of MI right now 🤪. It was 45 degrees yesterday!!
Love these style videos! Try Siete grain free chips, they are so good, top notch ingredients and you can get the lunch size bags for the kids walking tacos🌮 they even have nacho flavor:)

"Running out of places to put the snow!".... LOL... you crack me up.
It’s a thing-my husband warned me to not run into the snow piles along the edge of the driveway. The snow was frozen so hard yesterday and then today it was 40 degrees in Iowa and lots of melting.
The Neutrogena cleanser you used - with cleanser - burned my face when I was using differin. I had to switch to the fragrance free gel one.
Where did you get the vest
I live in Texas. We had no electricity or water for 5 days! It was a mess.
Me and my husband both have a pair of those flip flops (lol I’m from Michigan we call them flip flops) they are like walking on clouds, we love them!

When you talk about temperature, is it in celcius or fahrenheit?
She talks in Fahrenheit. Each time she says the temperature I have to go convert on Google. 😉😉
Great vlog Jen. I enjoyed it
We've had almost 2 feet more snow than normal in Pittsburgh, PA.
I just moved from Pittsburgh to my home town in va beach and i have been watching the weather...crazy!!! Dont miss it though. Lol.
Yes, I actually worked at a tanning salon in the late 90's. We would do double tans. What we didn't know back then.
It has been above 32F here in Ohio the last 2 days. Woo hoo! Snow is starting to melt and we had rain this morning.
Americano with a couple pumps of SF vanilla and a splash of NF milk is my go to Starbucks order!
Ha-3 daughters here (14-23), my stuff is ALWAYS missing, but “ no one” took it. Lol. Pretty soon all your gifts are you trying to get them stuff so they leave your stuff alone.

We are in TN and my son finally went back to school today...HALLELUJAH!!!!! 🤣🤣🤣

Tanning Bed...i was worse than that (I'm older 😞)...we used to lay in the sun covered in baby oil and lemon juice in my hair. Oh my 😠
my sister used crisco once.
Ditto, Johanna...(or with Hawaiian Tropic suntan oil with no SPF.) 🌞
I am 60 now and have paid for that nice tan dearly. Plus I live in SoFlo, where even an older wiser me still gets too much sun, unintentionally.
I’ll have to try those pancakes. I’ve been so disappointed with most Keto pancakes
My daughter is 15 months old, I 100% take car breaks lol everyday Saturday morning with my coffee (and usually TH-cam) when I go grocery shopping!!
ALWAYS enjoy your content! Very Motivational and Informative!💯💯 You have had me Really checking the sugar intake, after the "demonstration" 😱😱 All I can say is *Thank you*
Hi Tammi. We meet again.
@@MrsAlmaTrumble 💖💖 yes ma'am! Always a pleasure! We can't help it we Know the *BEST* TH-camrs to watch!🌸🌸
@@tammifields4142 yes we do.
Awesome as always! Hey Jen - I just got an instant pot and air fryer. I'm late to the game and a newbie! I know that you cook in yours often, but how about making a video for instant pot/air fryer for dummies :) maybe a recipe or two and a few tips? Take care! Thanks! C
Hi Jen. Do you mind sharing the size of the sweatshirt you ordered? Trying to decide the right size for myself. There is a green one I neeeeed.
It's never be ending after the age of thirteen even when they come home to visit mom's stuff is always better.
At times like these I feel spoiled to live in Florida... But hit me up mid-summer and I'll be over it again.
11 degrees lol. Here in California it’s 60 & so cold for me lol
Aww I remember “ borrowing “my moms makeup as a kid and so you still relax and drink a cold beer or wine or did you stop that too? Love that you guys are changing eating habits I’m always changing more making everything homemade now as much as I can
I just ordered some Built bars!!! Can't wait to try it! Mahalo for the coupon code!!!
The car break!! Woohoo! I need that break still!
The “car break” thing is so dang real.
I like the Thrive Coconut Flour. Pancakes are yummy with it.
Omg I love breakfast 🥞 it’s my favorite meal lol I make a full breakfast every Morning 🥰
My rule is that any temp above 20 degrees means no socks and maybe a light fleece... #winteronthetundra #wisconsinlife
Peanut butter, banana, and honey on whole wheat! 😍😍
LOL Jen, we always enjoy watching!!!
My parents had a family membership at the tanning salon LOL. I remember we would all go tan right after we got out of school lol
I've been switching back in forth between decaf Americano w/unsweet cinnamon dolce & decaf Almond milk honey flat white. I'm drinking a flat white right now at 10:45pm..🤷♀️☕ 🤣
If the kids like tuna salad or chicken salad, maybe they'd like it served on a bell pepper boat?
That's a great idea! sometimes I also make it a dip type of thing, and pack some crackers or veggies
My 14 year old daughter loves those! She puts lunch meat, tuna salad and chicken salad.
Hey Jen do you have to buy from them every month Like a contract to buy every month(member ship)
Nope!
Used tanning beds through my early 20s. I keep telling my daughters how it’s bad for u now and to always put sunscreen on at the beach! 😊 I’m checking out Built Bar!

@@lindamcgorman5850 thank you so much!! I’m ordering some now! They will make my life easier 💕
Ah I remember the tanning beds in the late 90s. It was also cool to put a heart or star sticker on your skin so that spot wouldn’t tan. Ughhhhhhh 😂
