My ex fiance is so upset about the breakup she relapsed and is intentionally trying to kill herself.. she sent me a message I knew something was majorly wrong and rushed to her apartment and got their in time to bring her back.. now I worry everyday I'm going to get the call she succeeded... I feel ur pain.. even though it's ur dx fiance u still will ALWAYS love that person even if ur not in love anymore.
This song was me at the beginning of the year. Made some big mistakes, but now I'm getting help and making progress. Pain is a cruel mistress. It can only go up once you reach the bottom
Beautiful song. I am a recovering addict. I was into pain pills for years and a bad alcoholic and then I found heroin and booze and pills no longer existed to me. I never thought I would break the hold it had on me or fix the damage I created in my life. I realized thst it can always get worse and rock bottom certainly had basements. I have 7 1/2 years clean now and I'll tell u what it's so hard to "walk uphill" as u say. Everything and everyone is stacked against u and u have to fight and claw and try to get ahead. I am still fighting to fix my life I have come a very long way and paid off all my debts and got a house and vehicle on my own. It's tough on one income with a record. Can't get a good job and nobody wants to help or trust u at first so it is seriously stacked against u to get out of the basement. If I can do it anybody can though. U just have to keep at it and not give up no matter what, the only one that can stop u is u.
I'm proud of you for getting clean, fighting addiction is one of the worst battles you can fight in my opinion because you're literally fighting yourself. You're in control but you have no control at the same time. I've been in recovery now for almost 10 years with the exception of a few relapses but I thank God and myself every day to be where I am today. Keep going, you're an inspiration, you got this ❤

I loaded them up into the needle had it in my arm ready to shoot and I was like wait.. what am I doing, and I took it and threw it on the toilet. I was amazed i had the willpower to do it at that stage and it gave me the confidence to keep going and to try to help others in recovery anyway i can. Congrats on ur recovery time and keep it up, ur absolutely right it's a battle against urself ur the only one that can make u succeed, or fail.

I always think I’ve found rock bottom but I manage to keep falling through, hoping it will end until I find myself numb in the face of adversity. I persevere not because I have the strength but because I’ve come to the point of feeling trapped. Above all else, I’m just glad someone could put words to it: I guess rock bottom has a basement. I don’t want to die, I just feel trapped with not chance of escape, so I guess I’m just super thankful you could put words into my pain. Thank you 💜🤍
