To make Filipino barbecue,slice the meat thinly NOT chunky. Add marinade. Marinade is made up of soy sauce,chopped chillies(optional), sugar to taste,black pepper,kalamansi juice(lemon juice if kalamansi is not available) and catsup. Marinate the meat for at least 4 hours or overnight the better. Soak the wood skewers for at least 2 hours so that the skewers will not easily burn over the charcoal. While the meat is over the charcoal, make a basting solution made of the remaining marinade and a little oil. Baste the barbecue often so that it will not get burned.
the leche flan looks delicious, it's better to really melt the sugar to make it more caramelized, and the barbecue looks delicious, you made a home made banana ketchup wow

In making leche flan, 1 can of evaporated milk or 500ml of fresh milk,1 can condensed milk and 12 egg yolks. Mix all ingredients and pass thru a strainer 2 times.
My kebab marinade would have been soy sauce, lots of garlic powder, black pepper, a little bit of vinegar, sugar ( Sugar is optional. You may have it with or without sugar ) and if you want, you may add regular tomato ketchup. It doesnt have to be banana ketchup.
insert a toothpick into the flan, if it comes out clean, it is ready. Also, just cover the flan lightly so that the steam can enter and it will make it easier to turn over. it makes the sugar syrupy and not be crumbly, as well

That's too much sugar! 2-3 measuring tablespoon of sugar per pan is enough. Caramelised the sugar until golden amber consistency.
