They shouldn't have to be worried, in almost all pokedex entries, it's stated that even though it's an electric type Pokemon, pichu's body is so small that it can barely control it's own electrical type attacks, so it can't know strong electrical type moves like volt tackle, Thunderbolt or electro ball, the strongest electrical type move that pichu is able to know is spark or thunder, and along with feeble normal type attacks & baby doll eyes.
