Sir, when we open Step file in creo its most of time open in surface but same step file open in other Shoftwere like NX and Catia its open in solid hoo to solve this problem.
Everything is about data accuracy. Creo calculated it differently (in better way) but then you have to use Import data doctor to close some gaps. Please check my channel or Web site to find tutorials about IDD (import data doctor)
