Ok good. Your explanation is lengthy .Simple explanation is needed for example SEE is a transitive verb and it takes an object while LOOK is an intransitive it doesn't require any object but it takes preposition. Simply we can say LOOK can be used in the sense of GLANCE. We use WATCH when we keenly observe something.For example
* Let me see it ( casual and accidental)
* Look at the bird ( Glance only i.e see and turn your head instantly)
* I watch IPL match on TV ( Pay attention on something)
