WOW it is amazing how the singing technique changes if the singer accompanies himself. so natural :) and like he is one body with the instrument. I experience it simlilar when I accompany myself on my baroque harp.
Your skill lies in being able to do what Honore D'Ambruys did in the French court, playing and singing at the same time. This creates a perfect reproduction of the original performance. You have an enchanting voice with best timbre and intonation. I can't deny that I would have preferred to hear the whole song sung by you....
I had to turn down the volume in the part where the soprano appeared. For a while I thought I was listening to 'bel canto', got me off quickly from the first and well built mood.
