@@MatttskiUm I don’t think you understand how myopic this question is. To know good is to know evil and vise versa. God Almighty, Allah has given the examples to the extremes of both. The only reason you can bring up something as horrible as Hitler or compare something to the holocaust is because it happened. They are there to learn from. As opposed to the naturalist perspective, where you would have to say Hitler NEEDED to exist because the universe is necessary. Also another way your question is incoherent is because why didn’t we just get rid of Hitler. Why didn’t the German high command get rid of him? Why didn’t the allies accept Hitlers offer to take jews or invade Germany when it militarized? Why did Hitler himself convict to doing what he did? Your problem here isn’t with God it’s with humans. That’s the problem with your question. That’s your flaw in cognition. But it’s not a bad question. There’s no such thing as a bad question but let’s be honest here, you weren’t genuinely asking. I hope God guides you. Peace.

@@Flaterly01 Indeed, Islam has the simplest, clearest and most logically-consistent idea of who God is and what His Attributes are, which is exactly the reason why its conversion rate is higher than any other religion.
In this case, however, I don't think it has anything to do with that. The agnostic man acknowledges the theists' basic observation that the universe is too perfect for it to be random and that there must be a higher power, but also, he doesn't know and doesn't really try to think about it, which is exactly my point. He wants to be part of the group that doesn't deny basic truths about our reality, unlike atheists, but he still wants to live the life of the athiest; unbound by the rules and laws of the said higher power that theists believe.

You can enjoy this life as well as the next, but you HAVE to do it within the means of Gods rules, and yes this is where a lot of people don’t want to listen, free will is the most dangerous thing to mankind, you can enjoy this life don’t get me wrong but you should do it in a way where it doesn’t displease God if that makes sense.
Also one thing to note and I’m sure you have witnessed the degeneracy of the west, imagine a people who feared God it would not be this bad over there but they’re more in dispute of what a woman is and all the LGBTQ stuff, when I see hear and read about that stuff I thank God religion has brought us some rules. See how you want it but without religion (which a lot of people misunderstand) we would all be just dust in the wind.

"..and it may be that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and that you like a thing which is bad for you. Allah knows but you do not know." (Q 2:216)
You could say we are "indoctrinated" from a very young age to expect positivity and negativity throughout our lives, and our faiths arent shaken by terrible nor overwhelmingly positive events.
"Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial. to Us must ye return." (Q 21:35)
"Do people think that they will be left alone because they say: "We believe," and will not be tested?
And We indeed tested those who were before them. And Allah will certainly make (it) known (the truth of) those who are sincere, and will certainly make (it) known (the falsehood of) those who are liars. Or do those who do evil deeds think that they can outrun Us (i.e. escape Our Punishment)? Evil is that which they judge." (Q 29:2-4)

"Evil has appeared on land and sea because of what the hands of men have earned, that Allah may make them taste a part of that which they have done, in order that they may return (by repenting to Allah, and begging His Pardon)." (Q 30:41)
Global warming and pollution are directly secondary to pathologically-capitalistic human industrialization, Ancient animals are going extinct because of mass-hunting and luxury, homelessness and mortgaging are rampant due to the cutthroat western economy and usury, the reemergence of old and upbringing of new STDs is caused by unrestricted animalistic promiscuity, etc.
God gave humans free will to test what they'll do with it, but you cant put the blame on God for the actions that his creations do out of their own accord, just how a father isn't responsible for his son's crimes (if he raised him right) or a company isnt responsible for an employee purchasing recreational drugs with his salary money.
"Truly, We did offer AlAmanah (free will; moral responsibility) to the heavens and the earth, and the mountains, but they declined to bear it and were afraid of it (fearing punishment). But man bore it. Verily, he was unjust (to himself) and ignorant (of its results). So that Allah will punish the hypocrites, men and women, and the men and women who associate parterns with allah, And Allah will pardon the true believers of the Islamic Monotheism, men and women. And Allah is Ever Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Q 33:72-73)

@redfordkobayashi6936 Why would you view eternal detachment from God as punishment? God isn't going to force you to be with Him. Hell is eternal detachment from God. You are alone, with your own ego, in narcissistic stubbornness. If you don't wanna be with God, fair enough, he'll take away all the things He gave you for free and let you sit in your defiance. That's not punishment if it's what you choose. Heaven is eternity with God. God isn't going to force you to be with Him if you don't want to.

To fail to see perfection without a designer, is to show an inability to comprehend the vastness of time and the erosion of the imperfect that's fails to fit. Old stones on the riverbed are perfectly smooth, these aren't designed, it's simply impossible for them to pass extended time in the river without becoming smooth.
