The thing that surprised me the most is they didn't include the in season rookies considering this was produced so late. Take the ten top in season rookies and make them 201-210 and short prints. I bought a box assuming there would be Julio rookies, I'm sure I wasn't the only one.
I went ahead and bought three of these boxes today from Dave and Adam’s. But only because they had them for $32 a box. I figured 16 packs of chrome for less than a blaster of chrome was worth it to me.

I would have considered buying this product if it mirrored the Logofractor and Bowman megas, where you’d get two packs of sonic refractors, one numbered card per pack kind of format. Thanks for taking the hit and sharing this video!
Well you get atleast one numbered color per box so it's basically the same as logofractor since they go for what 140-160 a box now roughly. It just depends on what you like looks wise for the parallels.
You missed a Few Goldie’s earlier on in the video, But I couldn’t agree more. I bought (5) boxes locally, The best card I hit was a Baz Prism. Bought another (5) from a buddy out of state, best hit was a horribly centered Torkleson YouthQuake. My reaction and feelings towards Sonic was the same as yours. I got to the point where I didn’t sort them at all. Out of (10) boxes, You should atleast hit something that pays for (1) box. The only positive was 3 credit cards. However, I do appreciate this video because if nothing else, You confirmed my beliefs and hopefully save many others from the pain we both just went thru. Thanks for all that you do buddy!!
To be honest, I wouldn't dive into this product due to the fact that this product has a double Whammy against it 1. taking the base product from your standard Chrome and adding "after thought" variations and 2. the OC is definitely in need of help!
I cashed in $80 in buybacks and got a box to rip. After seeing your video not as excited to open my box. I did however get 7 chrome blaster boxes for $150.00. Hope to get them before March 31st and pull atleast three more buybacks. We shall see.
Nice vid. I pulled an Image Variation SSP out of '23 Bowman Mega and was Jackson Holliday (wish it was Elly). Not bad for a $45 box at Barnes & Noble, and because I'm an addict , my Barnes & Noble membership gave me $5 off due to so many purchase points.
Topps Chrome Sonic Fanatics Gotta Make That Money Back .... I loved the brutal honesty I have thought the same when others ripped and was glad you didn't get any for the breaks and I am just a viewer.
I bought a few of these. I like Topps Chrome so I was ok with it. Best hits were Julio Youthquake, Cruz raywave and Wander silver. A few of my Sonics were just ok, nothing major, but the kicker was seeing how you only get A CHANCE at a Sonic parallel. That's crazy and should have been 1-3 per box. Otherwise, this is a glamorized Chrome mega box.
Feels like the biggest problem with this is the checklist. Without the update rookies, there's just not many possible hits. Like, I'll be honest: I like the Sonic parallels a LOT. The cards are gorgeous. I've absolutely gone on ebay and bought some low-tier singles just to see them in person. But the checklist isn't there to make the chase particularly compelling. Put another way: I'd rather open this than a couple of 2022 Chrome blasters. However, I'm simply not interested in opening 2022 Chrome anymore. That ship sailed a couple of new releases down the line and the release became downright irrelevant with 2022 Chrome Update. Sonic does nothing to interest me in returning to the non-update Chrome.

I think this product is kinda stupid bc I've already spent way too much on chrome, I can't justify buying basically more of the same stuff trying to hit on those long odds. Your channel is awesome because it confirms what I already thought to be true. I also really like your price per card breakdowns for flagship.

Bought two 2022 chrome blaster boxes and pulled Goldschmidt green and magenta parallels and a Judge base. Should I send them in or keep them. The magenta can pull a gem 10. Thoughts anyone????? The green is #86 of 199 and slightly OC as basically most from this set is.

I bought one box at lcs in kentucky, against my gut because I knew pulls were tough, against all odds I pulled a triple auto, Mike Schmidt, wade boggs and Adrian Beltre, 07/20, I was shocked. But it's still a very tough product. Thanks Stryker.
I agree with you Stryker, I bought a few hobby boxes of this when it was new and I guarantee I overpaid for them...I did pull a Mike Trout aqua pink sonic raywave and a nice Heliot Ramos Youthquake, but that was bout it.
I pulled the Wander RC Orange Black /25 yesterday from 1 box but the rest of the box was bad. Would you like a cold bag of peas for the lower extremity pain?
Being a mid-90s basketball collector as a kid, the topps chrome Youthquake was a big card (especially Kobe Bryant). I got my Wander off eBay, decent centering. Overall though this was a disappointment.
For me personally I like it, only $40 to get a couple numbered cards and a bunch of parallels but if you’re lookin for autos and big hits don’t waste your time

Here’s a title: sonic 4 suckers lol. This is a product I would only get by a case like you did to go for the buy backs and chance at a sp or something.
Maybe I just got lucky on my 4 boxes. I pulled 1-2 CC per box & was very easy to make a positive ROI. Crappy part is not guaranteed to pull a Sonic refractor in every box.

I have a Goldy /5. Some people were saying $1,000 on the buy back, but I might PC it since I'm a Cardinals guy. Tough call though.

Hopefully the tops chrone lite in 2023 is way better. It should be because of adley, gunnar, harris, hopefully corbin carroll and others
