I will be 4 months loc’d on the 13th of this month! Im struggling but I’m gonna try to be patient 🙏🏾. All of my locs look different and I thought there was something wrong with that lol but I guess it’s normal because I had a curly cut before I started them. BTW I love your hair😍 came across your pic on instagram and I subscribed!! ♥️

Just because your starter locs unravel does not mean it's going to slow the process especially if you have 4C "nappy" hair. Our hair is so coily it wants to loc. So whether you twist it, braid it, or leave it alone it will loc. You don't have to keep retwisting just don't touch it and it's going to keep binding together until it eventually forms the loc. I'm almost 5 months in, don't use any products except shampoo, no retwisting, just separating. Yes the first year will be annoying but once it locs it will thicken and do it's thing. ❤️

You’re absolutely correct! This is my second journey and on the first one, I was loc’d for a year and 1 month. And it isn’t mandatory. This is just an option for anyone that just would rather not deal with it, and that’s okay. Just like having loc extensions is okay. At the end of the day, I can’t judge someone for what they do to their hair. They have to wear it, I don’t. So if it’s not someone’s cup of tea that is perfectly fine. We all have the option of what we would like to do with our hair to make our locing process as comfortable as it can be for us! My mission is to help those out that choose to receive it. God bless you! ❤️
