A staging brake would help you quite a bit on the rolling out. Having to crane your arm back for the stock e-brake absorbs a little time vs. a staging brake were you can be right on that shifter ready to go. Great passes.

Reactionary Hermit it’s trapping 160. Don’t need more power. You’ll be surprised what knocking a .10 of the 60ft. I would recommend a wider contact patch and smaller spindle to run a taller side wall. You only need about 400-500 whp to cut a 1.4x 60ft on a 2700 pound chassis
also he left the front coilovers set up like it was from out of the box so maybe messing with the spring tension and the dampening should help a bit with the 60 foot

The other cars are built cheap the prelude is not he has admitted in buying cheap parts do that and it will break think he is seeing what good parts can do live and learn but he is doing great for his age

Preludes suspension was junk he gained .8 with just his suspension he added and the hatch hadn't been reliable ? 2-3 years on same engine and only changed turbos once.. Everything else on it is as reliable as a 9 second Street car can be let's see another kid home fab and built a 700+ whp eBay build drive across country make a 9 sec pass and drive back across the country and the minivan is just to heavy for stock trans nothing he can do until the custom parts arrive ..

Love everything you do Kyle, please do a video of you tidying up the lude, strip out the speakers,interior trim ,air bags, excess wires, old fuel lines, put a new front bar on it with less hacked up bumper for aero, strip out some of the supports for the bonnet, rear bumper re enforcements and 3rd brake light all that stuff has to go

It’s probably not tight just for small resistance. They do it all the time on high trap cars
I think the foot pedal doesn't engage the rear brakes as they are disconnected for a front tire burnout.
@@jospi2 The emergency brake will still only operate the rear brakes, so that will be what he holds for a front tire burnout, his foot wont be on the pedal.
@@justa5oh136 This still makes no sense, as they have 3.5" wide tires on the rear, applying a hand brake at 160mph on top of the foot brake would just increase the likelyhood of the rear brakes locking *UNLESS THE FOOT BRAKE IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE HYDRAULIC SYSTEM", which is the ONLY situation that makes sense to me. to prevent the foot brake from overpowering the rear tires, they remove them from the hydraulic system. Still doesn't make a lot of sense to me, as every rwd drag car has front runners on the car and modulates the foot pedal to stop....
So sick, I love this life its awesome if I can get mine half the power of this I'll be happy! Can't wait to see it in action in texas (sadly not in person) go get that record Kyle!

Kyle, you gotta start going either a split second after the third yellow or right on it. Your tires will spin and grab right as green hits. Also more boost in first, more wheel spin but when you shift out early and get to 2nds torque band which should raise your 60'.
