The place looks beautiful Anne. I have a wing chair done in the Historic Flame that I purchased a number of years ago and love it. Roz is so correct, purchasing this flame stitch fabric has gotten extremely expensive if you can find it. You are fortunate to have that sofa.
Always enjoy your videos but this one was interesting. Your tavern looked so cozy and welcoming and learning about fabrics was fun. Merry Christmas Anne and to your family. You really looked nice, worth all the hard work🎄
What a great sofa and chair so glad you found it ! It’s my favorite pattern. I will be watching this over again I loved listening about the flame stitch . 🤎🤎🤎
Anne - your home is so neat & interesting! Love how the tavern turned out! Again - i have a little black & white shih tzu like you / so always enjoy when you include yours in videos!
The Tavern is a Holiday Haven! Very cozy and love the placement of the table! Anne you look great! Thanks for sharing this! Merry Christmas to you and your! 🎄🎅🧑🎄☕️⛄️❤️🕯️🦌🙏
Anne, I am so happy for you with this new find. I have loved this quintessential pattern like forever. I eventually purchased a sofa upholstered in this pattern from The Seraph when they were in Sturbridge, MA. The sofa did not make the cut when I moved into my condo, but I do have pillows covered with this beautiful flamestitch. The sofa and chair look great in the tavern room.
Oh Anne, this was so interesting. The diamond flame pattern is a favorite and to learn that it was prominent in rich family homes long ago was neat. And you, how cool you found the piece of furniture. To learn the history of how Angel House came to be is exciting to me. And the wood on your ceiling is something I love and would love to see in a room in my home. It's so rustic and warm. Thank you so much for bringing this to share with us. I sure am glad you've created your channel. You're awesome. Now, it would be wonderful if you could put your feet up, have a cup of tea and relax.
Thank you, Anne, for this video. I’m in awe of your home, and love that you’re trying to give it more authentic furnishings. The sofa and chair were such a steal of a deal!! Learning the history of the flame stitch was intriguing to me. I’ve always liked it! By the way, you look wonderful! Merry Christmas!
I have a flame stitch wing chair-and-a-half (also known as a “man and dog chair” I had made by Angel House Designs back in 2004. Everyone who visits us always picks that chair first, it’s so roomy and comfy! You’re looking good Anne!
Anne, so incredibly beautiful! I truly love the home you and Tom created. I’ve been watching from the start because every video is creative and fun. Merry Christmas 🎄
Hi Anne, you ladies did a beautiful job,I love that you both talked about the history too!I always was drawn to that print now i know why😂Everything looks so festive and welcoming. Your luncheon looked delicious too!I hope you do a tour of your Christmas home.🕊💚🎄
My gosh…I love it! Our house is an old school house converted to a home by his parents. The living room was designed as a tavern. HE calls it his man cave 🤢🙄. I can sit and dream the way I want…I mean….would have it. LOL………Your tavern room is extremely close to what I would do. MERRY CHRISTMAS! Looking great, Anne! 😘
Good morning Happy Christmas Eve. I have a whole new appreciation for flame fabric. I purchased two smaller wing back chairs more like parsons chair for a dinning table. They were about 10 years old and in perfect condition from the company Johnson Benchworks. Was not live at first site however having traveled from Tennessee to Ohio to get them I decided I would use them around the house somewhere. I gave just recently changed out an area in our kitchen eating area to a tavern area and the chairs have found a new home. Thanks Anne for all your wonderful videos.
Hi Anne. Liza from Vermont here. Thank you for sharing that amazing information about flame stitch. The pieces look so good in your tavern. Looks so different from when Kelly and I were there for the Meet and Greet Dinner. Anyway, I love it! I have the exact same sofa in the exact same flame stitch. I found it on Marketplace too! I hope you, Tom, Kami, and your whole family have the merriest of Christmases! Cheers!!
I met her mother m & dad years ago. My husband & I bought our couch & chairs from the salt box house. I wanted the flame stitch but my husband thought it to busy. 😢 Love my furniture though. Tavern beautiful
@@suewilson163 oh wow interesting Sue. It is a busy print and I have to say the very first time I saw flamestitch I didn’t like it either. It’s grown on me through the years!
Merry Christmas Eve! Enjoy your videos, especially around the holidays. Roz and Sue at Angel House have helped us with a settee and some upholstery pieces using the Old Red Shelburne Stencil. This vid really opened my eyes to the FlameStitch pattern...could look great in the Tavern room of our 1727 Connecticut Saltbox...Maybe you could do a show about Tavern Rooms in CT or NE houses?...I'm sure you could find a bunch! Thanks again for the video!
Thanks for the fabric lesson Anne and Roz. I love the flame stitch but don't have any currently. Tavern looks great! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Keep on keepin' on!
I used to have the historic flame on my Angel House loveseat. I probably had it 25+ years. At that time, there was someone there named “Val” that did the work on my piece. I also had a chair, I think it was an Essex ? Beautiful tavern room. Thanks for sharing!
I believe that Val was the original owner and Roz's father. I live up the road from Angel House and have some furniture from there though not flame stitch.😊 Keep on keepin' on
