Yea, idk why but I feel like with OG k-pop, they always sounded even better live. K-pop idols nowadays are good with their vocals too but I can't seem to find any actually live singing bc they mostly lip-sync. The only ones that I know of that still sing live are Mamamoo, BTS, Blackpink, Red Velvet and BTOB. There are probably more that I'm not aware of though but as I said earlier, I just feel like OG k-pop always sounded even better live. But I still appreciate the idols who sing live nowadays as well bc they are giving their best and I appreciate that and they sound great live as well.

The art and technical department of MAMA must have been in on the surprise. It is possible that not EVERYONE involved knew, and that they conducted closed rehearsals, but it is impossible that they just turned up and said "oh by the way the rest of the band are here, just put this mp3 in and we'll take care of the rest" - The ear monitors and sound levels are crucial for performers of their calibre and you can't just wing it without a proper soundcheck, especially in such a huge arena. I've been involved in several award shows of this type and let me tell you they are rehearsed within an inch of their lives. It still makes a great video that I cannot stop watching and it doesn't make the joy of us fans to see them reunited less genuine!

Cl also came out with a video that features all the girls supporting her, it’s called Done. Bom was on a show talking about a comeback, I think her last solo single was called Spring. Dara is in her first musical called Another oh hey young. They all support each other so much. They definitely want to get back together but can’t for legal issues. this is what we called a real live performance. how the artist can communicate well the audience with their stage presence, how they can hype the crowd with their vibe and absolutely can amaze the viewers with their own colors. be honest, we (the viewers) wanna sees it well and feels the song that their sing to us. if the song is ballad, we want to feels like we gonna burst our tears down. and of course if the song is hip hop/ upbeat songs, we want to jump or moving our body. we don't wanna see their full choreography bcs we can see it through their another choreo vids, we don't wanna hear their full singing on that performance bcs we can hear it through their song (audio only). the viewers wanna sees something new on their performance even though that's still the same songs. 2ne1 bigbang can do it great with flawless, their own charisma and power. that's why we love them so much

Zceska Botin Bom’s contract was suspended because of a “drug” scandal- she had medication shipped from the US by her family to Korea as it was illegal - she was unable to go to the US to see her doctor to get her medication herself because of her schedule. So she was investigated for drug smuggling. The charges were dropped I believe as she provided her medical records stating that therapy was not as effective as her medication I think it was for anxiety or something along those lines I believe. Minzy left and they became a 3 piece- then YG did not renew their contracts as a group. CL and Dara were signed as solo artists. Their last song was Goodbye in 2017, which was based on a letter CL wrote to Minzy when she left. Bom was apart of the Goodbye song. Nowadays Bom is a solo artist on a different label, Dara does TV shows now I think, CL has gone solo trying to break into America with songs in English and she’s done lots of modelling and then Minzy is doing solo music and TH-cam

These dancers are part of The Royal Family, globally famous professional dancers for years of course theyre more exposed to empowering the stage. So it is a fact that these specific dancers may have more stage presence than CL.
Plus the topic under this comment is how backup dancers are restricted but of course most of these dancers are just there to backup the stage, not to dominate it in order to not overshadow the idols. But since CL’s dancers are world renowned power dancers, of course she knew that they wouldn’t hesitate to dominate the stage.
The way they screamed for Bom, after everything YG did to her. She got the loudest cheers. We all wanted 2ne1 but they were treated so poorly by management. I wish them the best in all their solo careers respectfully. I will always be a blackjack ♥️

Cl also came out with a video that features all the girls supporting her, it’s called Done. Bom was on a show talking about a comeback, I think her last solo single was called Spring. Dara is in her first musical called Another oh hey young. They all support each other so much. They definitely want to get back together but can’t for legal issues. Hope you check out there solo songs.
this is what we called a real live performance. how the artist can communicate well the audience with their stage presence, how they can hype the crowd with their vibe and absolutely can amaze the viewers with their own colors.
be honest, we (the viewers) wanna sees it well and feels the song that their sing to us. if the song is ballad, we want to feels like we gonna burst our tears down. and of course if the song is hip hop/ upbeat songs, we want to jump or moving our body. we don't wanna see their full choreography bcs we can see it through their another choreo vids, we don't wanna hear their full singing on that performance bcs we can hear it through their song (audio only).
the viewers wanna sees something new on their performance even though that's still the same songs. 2ne1 bigbang can do it great with flawless, their own charisma and power. that's why we love them so much

The live itself the connection with the audience the charisma, slaying their lines and also showing awesome choreo. The fact that they managed to do all of this without anyone suspecting a thing, impressed me the most. This was a hell of a surprise that was meant to be experienced. Thank you CL for being an amazing leader, YG for managing to get this done and of course 2NE1 for staying strong and showing everyone that you're not going anywhere just yet. Why did they disbanded
Zceska Botin Bom’s contract was suspended because of a “drug” scandal- she had medication shipped from the US by her family to Korea as it was illegal - she was unable to go to the US to see her doctor to get her medication herself because of her schedule. So she was investigated for drug smuggling. The charges were dropped I believe as she provided her medical records stating that therapy was not as effective as her medication I think it was for anxiety or something along those lines I believe. Minzy left and they became a 3 piece- then YG did not renew their contracts as a group. CL and Dara were signed as solo artists. Their last song was Goodbye in 2017, which was based on a letter CL wrote to Minzy when she left. Bom was apart of the Goodbye song. Nowadays Bom is a solo artist on a different label, Dara does TV shows now I think, CL has gone solo trying to break into America with songs in English and she’s done lots of modelling and then Minzy is doing solo music and TH-cam
