Plank is not the #1 ab exercise. As an athletic training major I'll tell you, on field you're not holding a static contraction in your abs. Better crunches with a heavy plate. Treat your abs just like any other muscle, 12-15 reps / 3-4 sets. Also knees planted on ground rope pull downs with alternating twist to each side, simulates shooting.
Great video but anyone planning on playing in college I have spoken to a few college coaches and all of them have said when they do weights they do squats 5-4 times a week and bench 1-2 days a week👍
Honestly I would just do everything in 1 day, and workout 3-4 times a week Make it harder and harder, and if you want to improve your core, maybe try calisthenics as well
Would this be good for hockey because I want to go D1 and play pro in hockey but lacrosse is my second favorite sport and I want to play it in college with hockey too

Ya I don’t agree with plank either even weighted Russian twist getting that side to side core strength would be more useful
